Abraham (concussion) is "50-50" whether he'll return for a 15th season in 2015, Mike Jurecki of FOX Sports 910 Phoenix reports. Abraham suffered a concussion in Week 1 this past season, and after entering the NFL's protocol for head injuries, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that the linebacker had been suffering from memory loss for more than a year, raising speculation that he may have played his last professional down. Indeed, Abraham was soon placed on season-ending injured reserve, and the Cardinals' dearth of linebacker depth forced defensive coordinator Todd Bowles to turn to five or six defensive backs on most plays. With Bowles' departure during the offseason to coach the Jets, the Cardinals elevated outside linebackers coach James Bettcher to helm the defense. Bettcher's direction helped Abraham accumulate 11.5 sacks during his first campaign with the Cardinals in 2013, meaning the pass rusher's return could be contingent upon his health status, not to mention how the organization proceeds in free agency and the upcoming draft.
