A source tells CSN Philly that the Eagles haven't shown much interest in free agent S Jairus Byrd "yet." The Eagles have had a gaping hole at safety ever since Brian Dawkins left and Byrd is a true difference maker at the position. But GM Howie Roseman has continually stated his intention not to overspend in free agency, and Byrd is seeking to become the highest paid safety in the game at a minimum of $9 million annually. It would be a surprise if the Eagles got in on the high-stakes bidding here.
