Quin recorded two tackles, one pass breakup and one interception against the Steelers on Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

Two tackles is a season-low for Quin, but hauling in an interception helps bring up his value. The 31-year-old has three interceptions on the season now, but his tackles have been been trending down since he racked up eight in Week 3 against the Falcons, so fantasy owners should steer clear for now.

Quin (concussion) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Michael Rothstein of ESPN reports.

EDGE Analysis

Having logged an uninhibited practice, Quin must be close to clearing concussion protocol if he hasn't done so already. Regardless, he seems right on track to suit up Sunday against the Steelers.

Quin (concussion) returned to practice Monday, Justin Rogers of the Detroit News reports.

EDGE Analysis

Coming off a bye week, Quin will be two weeks removed from the day he sustained his concussion when Sunday's matchup with the Steelers rolls around. While it isn't clear if he's passed through league protocol yet, Quin's availability at Monday's practice is nonetheless an encouraging sign.

Quin (concussion) did not participate in Tuesday's practice, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

EDGE Analysis

Quin was forced out of Sunday's game against the Saints due to a concussion and did not return. He'll now have to go through the league's concussion protocol, but with the Lions entering a bye week, the safety will have some extra time to become symptom-free.

Quin is being evaluated for a concussion and won't return to Sunday's game against the Saints, Mike Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

Quin will have to complete the league's concussion protocol before returning, so luckily the Lions have a bye week ahead so he'll have an extra week. Charles Washington will see an increase in snaps for the time being, though.

Quin (groin) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

Good news for the Lions as their secondary's leader returns to the field after being limited in practice Wednesday. The groin issue doesn't appear to be too serious and Quin should be cleared for Sunday's showdown with the Panthers, barring any major setbacks in Friday's practice that is.

Quin tallied eight total tackles and a pick-six during Sunday's 30-26 loss to the Falcons.

EDGE Analysis

Even in a losing effort, Quin arguably made the play of the game Sunday when he picked off Matt Ryan late in the second quarter on a pass aimed at Julio Jones and ran into the end zone untouched. His eight combined tackles also tied for the team lead. In total, the veteran safety has now collected 19 tackles, three PDs, two interceptions, one touchdown and a forced fumble through three games, planting him firmly on the IDP radar.

Quin signed a two-year, $13 million extension with the Lions on Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

Quin has played all 16 games in each of the last four seasons for Detroit, so they'll reward the reliable safety with another two years on his deal, which includes $9.5 million of guaranteed money. Quin is coming off a 2016 campaign where he had 68 tackles, five passes defensed, two interceptions and one forced fumble, which should be good enough to lock him in as the Lion's top free safety once again.

EDGE Analysis

The ankle injury that Quin was dealing with appears to no longer be of issue. With his injury behind him, Quin looks poised to help anchor a solid Detroit defense.

Quin (ankle) practiced in near-full capacity during the first day of minicamp, the Lions' official site reports.

EDGE Analysis

Quin had been taking it easy since undergoing offseason ankle surgery, but participated in near-full capacity during Tuesday's session. For reference, Quin never participated in any team drills during OTAs. However, now in minicamp, he lined up as the starting free safety during team drills, admittedly only for a portion of the snaps, though. It appears Quin has been setback-free in his recovery, and will continue to amp up his workload in practice as the offseason wears on.
