Gore carried 15 times for 61 yards and a touchdown while catching both his targets for 13 yards during Sunday's 34-28 loss to the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
Gore led the team in carries by seven and averaged a respectable 4.1 yards per tote against a solid defensive unit. He scored a one-yard touchdown in the third quarter to end a touchdown drought that dated back to Week 3 of last season. The veteran now has double-digit carries in seven of his last eight games, but his fantasy value has been marginal due to weak yardage output and the aforementioned lack of touchdowns. With that said, Gore will look to build on this relatively productive effort next Sunday against a beatable Dolphins run defense.

Gore rushed 12 times for 46 yards and caught both of his targets for 13 yards in Monday night's 30-27 loss to the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
Gore's touch tally trumped fellow tailback La'Mical Perine's eight, as did his yardage total compared to the rookie's 38 combined. Nonetheless, it was another solid but unspectacular outing for the veteran, who still hasn't scored this season. The 37-year-old will now embark on a welcomed bye week before turning his attention to a matchup against the Chargers in Week 11.

Gore (hand/non-injury) didn't practice Friday.
EDGE Analysis
While it's unclear what the non-injury portion of his injury designation is connected to, Gore's participation, or lack thereof, Saturday will be worth monitoring considering he went from practicing fully Thursday to missing practice entirely Friday. Assuming he gets back on the practice field Saturday, Gore would put himself in good position to suit up Monday against the Patriots after playing through his hand injury last week.

Gore (hand) rushed 10 times for 30 yards and wasn't targeted in the passing game in Sunday's 35-9 loss to Kansas City.
EDGE Analysis
Gore split work with rookie La'Mical Perine, who turned eight carries and two catches into 33 scrimmage yards. While Perine at least has some long-term appeal, Gore's lack of involvement as a pass-catcher out of the backfield, zero touchdowns and subpar average of 3.5 yards per carry make him a non-factor outside of much deeper fantasy formats. Gore has rushed for exactly 30 yards three times this season and between 24 and 63 yards in each of New York's eight games.

Gore (hand) is active for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
Gore will get the green light to play despite having not been a full practice participant at any point this week. While Gore has led the New York backfield in snaps and carries this season, he was out-touched by rookie Lamical Perine for the first time during the campaign in last week's loss to the Bills. Expect the 0-7 Jets to continue prioritizing Perine ahead of the 37-year-old Gore during the second half of the season.

Gore (hand) is listed as questionable on the final injury report before Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gore will likely split carries with rookie La'Mical Perine if he suits up, but Perine would gain some against-the-grain fantasy appeal if Gore can't go. Kansas CIty has struggled against the run, and the Jets will likely have no choice but to stick with the running game regardless of game script given how inept the team's passing attack has looked, especially with leading receiver Jamison Crowder (groin) doubtful to suit up for this one.

Gore, who was limited by a hand injury Wednesday, didn't practice Thursday, with the Jets classifying his absence as non-injury related.
EDGE Analysis
We'll have to wait until Friday to see if the Gore's hand issue is minor enough for him to be removed from the team's Week 8 injury report altogether, or if he approaches Sunday's game against the Chiefs with a questionable tag. Assuming he suits up this weekend, the veteran back would be in line to share backfield touches with La'Mical Perine.

Gore (hand) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear exactly what Gore is dealing with, but there's no indication that he's in danger of missing this Sunday's matchup against the Chiefs. Gore has missed just two games over the past 10 seasons, playing through plenty of injuries in that stretch. His role has been steady even though rookie La'Mical Perine has led the Jets backfield in snaps over the last two games, as Gore has recorded 130 yards from scrimmage on 26 touches in that stretch.

Gore rushed 11 times for 60 yards in Sunday's 18-10 loss to Buffalo. He wasn't targeted in the passing game.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Adam Gase promised to get rookie La'Mical Perine more involved, and that's exactly what he did, as Perine finished with 11 carries and two catches on three targets. Gore outproduced Perine 60-39 on the ground, but it was the rookie who scored New York's only touchdown with a nice dive to the pylon from five yards out. There's little reason for the 0-7 Jets to give the 37-year-old Gore much work at Perine's expense moving forward, but Gore has carried the ball at least nine times in each of the past six games, and he'll likely see similar usage in Week 8 against the Chiefs.

Gore carried the ball 11 times for 46 yards and caught all four of his targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 24-0 loss to the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
While the numbers were modest, it was Gore's most productive game of the season so far in terms of scrimmage yards. His role on the ground didn't seem to change with Le'Veon Bell no longer around, but Gore did see season highs in targets and receptions. The veteran RB should again head the Jets' backfield in Week 7 against the Bills.
