Gore (concussion) won't practice Thursday, Connor Hughes of The Athletic reports.

EDGE Analysis

Gore logged a limited practice Wednesday, but the running back's downgrade in participation Thursday isn't necessarily indicative of a setback, given that lately he's been receiving routine rest days on Thursday. How he's listed on the Jets' upcoming injury report should add some context to Gore's latest absence.

Gore (concussion) is slated to practice in a limited fashion Wednesday, Andy Vasquez of The Bergen Record reports.

EDGE Analysis

While Gore remains in the NFL's concussion protocol, coach Adam Gase thinks that there's a good chance the veteran running back can gain clearance ahead of Sunday's game against the Seahawks. If Gore does end up suiting up this weekend, he could be in store for less playing time than usual after Ty Johnson shined in the Jets' Week 13 loss to the Raiders following Gore's early exit. Johnson finished the contest with 104 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries to go with two receptions for 13 yards.

Gore won't return to Sunday's game against the Raiders after sustaining a concussion.

EDGE Analysis

With Gore now sidelined after just one carry for two yards Sunday, Ty Johnson and Josh Adams will be called upon to handle the team's Week 13 rushing duties.

Gore is under evaluation for a concussion during Sunday's game versus the Raiders, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.

EDGE Analysis

Gore was described as "wobbly" at the end of a two-yard run on the second play of the game, per Rich Cimini of ESPN.com. After visits to the sideline tent and locker room, Gore may soon enter the concussion protocol, which would force him from the contest for good. In Gore's stead, Ty Johnson was the first running back to replace him.

Gore (undisclosed) went to the locker room during Sunday's game against the Raiders, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.

EDGE Analysis

On the second play of the game, Gore was shaken up following a hard hit from the Raiders' Damon Arnette on a two-yard run. Gore visited the sideline tent before heading indoors. The nature of the injury is unknown, but Ty Johnson took over RB after Gore's departure.

Gore rushed 18 times for 74 yards and caught all three of his targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 20-3 loss to the Dolphins.

EDGE Analysis

Gore returned to lead back duties with La'Mical Perine (ankle) out, but the entire Jets offense struggled to get going, and Gore didn't help by getting stuffed on a pivotal 4th-and-1 run deep in Dolphins territory with the Jets trailing 13-3 in the third quarter. With Perine on IR, Gore should maintain a high-volume floor in Week 13 against a Raiders defense that has struggled to defend the run, but expectations should be tempered for the 37-year-old running back, who has found the end zone just once all season despite his prominent role in the league-worst Jets offense.

Coach Adam Gase said Friday that the Jets will have a running back rotation of Gore, Ty Johnson and Josh Adams on Sunday against the Dolphins, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.

EDGE Analysis

Gore has received double-digit carries eight times in 10 contests this season en route to averaging 13.3 touches and 50.5 yards from scrimmage per game. He's likely in line for a similar workload with La'Mical Perine (ankle) on injured reserve for at least the next three games, but Gase is poised to use Johnson and Adams out of the backfield as well. However, the duo has just 16 combined touches in 2020, so Gore should remain the lead back.

Gore appears set to serve as the Jets' de facto No. 1 running back following the placement of La'Mical Perine (ankle) on injured reserve, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

Gore had been splitting time roughly evenly with Perine prior to the rookie's injury, and the veteran could realistically now find himself in position to handle 15-plus weekly touches. Such a role wouldn't even be too far off Gore's usual gig with the Jets, as he's handled double-digit touches in nine of 10 appearances this season. Ty Johnson is a candidate to complement Gore in a change-of-pace role, while Josh Adams has been signed to the active roster as added depth.

Gore carried 15 times for 61 yards and a touchdown while catching both his targets for 13 yards during Sunday's 34-28 loss to the Chargers.

EDGE Analysis

Gore led the team in carries by seven and averaged a respectable 4.1 yards per tote against a solid defensive unit. He scored a one-yard touchdown in the third quarter to end a touchdown drought that dated back to Week 3 of last season. The veteran now has double-digit carries in seven of his last eight games, but his fantasy value has been marginal due to weak yardage output and the aforementioned lack of touchdowns. With that said, Gore will look to build on this relatively productive effort next Sunday against a beatable Dolphins run defense.

Gore rushed 12 times for 46 yards and caught both of his targets for 13 yards in Monday night's 30-27 loss to the Patriots.

EDGE Analysis

Gore's touch tally trumped fellow tailback La'Mical Perine's eight, as did his yardage total compared to the rookie's 38 combined. Nonetheless, it was another solid but unspectacular outing for the veteran, who still hasn't scored this season. The 37-year-old will now embark on a welcomed bye week before turning his attention to a matchup against the Chargers in Week 11.
