Frank Gore Open To Playing Another Season rotoballer.com
Tue 1/5/21 11:25 AM
New York Jets running back Frank Gore hasn't closed the door on returning for a 17th NFL season and is open to playing again in 2021 under the right circumstances. Gore didn't play in the Week 17 regular season finale against the Patriots due to a lung contusion. The ageless wonder managed to play in 15 games this year as the Jets primary running back, accumulating 653 yards and two touchdowns on 187 carries. He also managed 16 receptions on 19 targets for 89 yards. While Gore can still play in...
Frank Gore To Miss Week 17 Finale rotoballer.com
Mon 12/28/20 2:18 PM
New York Jets running back Frank Gore (lung), who became the third player in NFL history to run for 16,000 yards in the Week 16 win over the Browns, will not play in Week 17 against the Patriots due to a lung contusion. Gore ran the ball 14 times for 48 yards against Cleveland and added a five-yard reception in what could be the future Hall of Famer's final NFL game. With the veteran out of the picture in the season finale, rookie La'Mical Perine should get more run alongside Ty Johnson. If ...
Frank Gore Gets 14 Carries In Week 16 rotoballer.com
Sun 12/27/20 5:28 PM
New York Jets running back Frank Gore continued to see a high volume of carries during the Week 16 matchup with the Cleveland Browns. He rushed 14 times for 48 yards as head coach Adam Gase continued to pound the ball up the middle even though it wasn't working. Gore left the game in the fourth quarter with an unclear injury. He won't be a very appealing fantasy option for what could possibly be his last game in the NFL next week.
Frank Gore Avoidable Versus Browns rotoballer.com
Sun 12/27/20 1:20 AM
New York Jets running back Frank Gore has been far from efficient this season, but it's tough to expect a lot from the 37-year-old veteran. Last week, Gore saw a season-high 23 carries in the victory over the Los Angeles Rams. Head coach Adam Gase continues to pound the ball with Gore in a lost season despite having younger options. However, Gore is going to be a tough option to trust against the Cleveland Browns in Week 16. A defense that has allowed the fourth-fewest amount of fantasy points ...
Frank Gore Sees Heavy Workload In Week 15 rotoballer.com
Sun 12/20/20 11:30 PM
New York Jets running back Frank Gore was handed the ball quite often during the Week 15 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams. He rushed 23 times for 59 yards and one touchdown in the win. Those 23 carries were a season-high and Gore also scored his second rushing touchdown of the season. Head coach Adam Gase continues to pound the ball with Gore each and every week. Sadly, that strategy is unlikely going to be effective against the strong run defense of the Cleveland Browns next week.
Frank Gore Has Tough Matchup Versus Rams rotoballer.com
Fri 12/18/20 1:45 PM
New York Jets running back Frank Gore is going to continue getting touches despite struggling on the ground lately. Head coach Adam Gase is going to stick with Gore as they ride the tank train to the No. 1 overall pick. It's highly unlikely that Gore does anything productive versus the Los Angeles Rams in Week 15. Fantasy managers should consider Gore a desperation deep league option with minimal upside.
Frank Gore In Line To Continue Receiving Carries rotoballer.com
Mon 12/14/20 8:18 PM
New York Jets running back Frank Gore is expected to continue seeing a sizable role in the team's offense heading into a Week 15 matchup against the Rams despite the emergence of Ty Johnson out of the backfield. Gore's presence for a winless team has been puzzling from a fantasy perspective, all the more in the wake of Johnson's 104-yard rushing game against the Raiders during Week 13. No matter who New York deploys as a rusher is sure to face an uphill battle against a Rams Defense headlined...
Frank Gore Gets Eight Carries In Loss rotoballer.com
Sun 12/13/20 11:32 PM
New York Jets running back Frank Gore (head) was unable to get much of anything going against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 14. He was listed as questionable heading into this contest due to a concussion. However, he did suit up, but wasn't able to cause much damage on the ground. He rushed eight times for 23 yards in the loss. Head coach Adam Gase also gave Josh Adams and Ty Johnson a handful of carries in this game. Possibly, Gase has finally decided to give his younger backs a longer look. ...
Optimism That Frank Gore Plays Against Seahawks rotoballer.com
Sun 12/13/20 9:47 AM
New York Jets running back Frank Gore (concussion) should be on the field against the Seahawks. Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Gore needs to "clear a final hurdle" in the morning before the team can confidently say he'll play. Fellow backs Ty Johnson and Josh Adams picked up the slack last week in Gore's absence, as both players exceeded 70 rushing yards in the loss to the Raiders. It's anyone's guess what head coach Adam Gase will do with this backfield. Given that the Seahawks have allowed...
