Harris officially inked a two-year contract with the Browns on Thursday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

EDGE Analysis

Harris is set to join a high powered offense that features Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt (suspension), Odell Beckham, Jarvis Landry and David Njoku. The 27-year-old figures to slot in behind Njoku on the depth chart, but proved his value, catching 12 passes for 164 yards and three touchdowns in 2018.

Harris informed the Browns on Wednesday that he intends to sign a two-year contract, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

EDGE Analysis

Harris moves from one high-powered offense to another, joining Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt (suspension), Odell Beckham, Jarvis Landry and David Njoku as part of an ever-growing collection of skill-position talent in Cleveland. The 27-year-old tight end appears to have settled for more money while maintaining a No. 2 role, as Njoku figures to top the depth chart for the foreseeable future. Harris isn't likely to offer much fantasy value in 2019 unless Njoku misses time with an injury.

Harris hauled in his lone target for a two-yard gain Sunday in the Chiefs' 37-31 overtime loss to the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game.

EDGE Analysis

The Chiefs leaned heavily on two-tight end formations in the loss, with Harris (26 offensive snaps) actually outpacing No. 3 receiver Chris Conley (24) in terms of usage. Though teammate Travis Kelce remains one of the best at his position in the NFL, the 6-foot-7 Harris retains some level of utility in fantasy leagues that start two tight ends due to his typically high snap counts for a backup player. Harris proved to be a quality secondary piece in a prolific passing attack during the regular season, nabbing 12 passes for 164 yards and a career-high three touchdowns.

Harris recorded just 12 catches for 164 yards and three touchdowns on 25 targets during 2018.

EDGE Analysis

It's not a huge surprise that Harris didn't rack up much in terms of stats during 2018 given the team's numerous offensive weapons, but he did manage to haul in a career-high total for touchdown passes. He's set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, so there is no guarantee Harris' home games will come at Arrowhead Stadium next season.

Harris hauled in all three of his targets for 28 yards Sunday against the Ravens.

EDGE Analysis

Harris's status was partially in question entering Sunday, but he was ultimately cleared to suit up. The second-string tight end proceeded to post his second straight multi-catch week after recording just one during the team's first 11 games. Harris remains on hand as the next man up at the position should starter Travis Kelce be sidelined for some reason.

Harris (illness) is active for Sunday's game against the Ravens, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

The illness prevented Harris from practicing in any capacity Thursday and Friday, but he apparently made enough progress over the last 24 hours to gain clearance to play. Harris will slot in behind Travis Kelce as the Chiefs' backup tight end, but coach Andy Reid's offensive scheme frequently features both players on the field. After hauling in three of his season-high six targets for 39 yards in the Week 13 win over the Raiders, Harris could see a similar level of involvement Sunday with Sammy Watkins (foot) and the newly acquired Kelvin Benjamin (coach's decision) both inactive.

Harris (illness/knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens, BJ Kissel of the Chiefs' official site reports.

EDGE Analysis

Harris was withheld from practices Thursday and Friday, with the illness seemingly the greater concern of the two issues at this point. Per Brooke Pryor of The Kansas City Star, coach Andy Reid said after the team's final practice of the week that he expects Harris to be ready to go Sunday barring a setback in his recovery, so the tight end should ultimately be available. Though Travis Kelce tops the depth chart at his position, the Chiefs often deploy two tight-end formations featuring Harris, who caught a season-high three passes for 39 yards and a touchdown in the Week 13 win over the Raiders. Harris could see heightened involvement in the passing game again Sunday with starting wideout Sammy Watkins (foot) listed as doubtful and considered highly unlikely to play.

Harris (illness) is not participating in Thursday's practice, BJ Kissel of the Chiefs' official site reports.

EDGE Analysis

Harris is coming off a strong performance, where he caught three passes for 39 yards and a touchdown against the Raiders. It's unclear how serious the illness is for Harris, but it will be important to monitor his practice availability leading up to Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Harris hauled in three of six targets, amassing 39 receiving yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 40-33 win against the Raiders.

EDGE Analysis

Harris has developed an appetite for the end zone in his fifth pro campaign, with three receiving touchdowns this year compared to three scores through his first 56 career games. The part-time tight end remains a deep-league dart throw, however, never exceeding 40 receiving yards and accounting for a touchdown in the same game this season, and only once (in Week 13) having racked up at least three catches in a single game. Upcoming in Week 14 is a matchup against a Baltimore defense that's been forgiving to tight ends this year, with 63 receptions and 753 receiving yards allowed to the position (bottom eight in both categories).

Harris snared just one of his two targets for three yards Monday against the Rams.

EDGE Analysis

Harris was on the field for 54 percent of the team's offensive snaps Monday, but he remains well down the pecking order for targets. There's no reason to believe that will change in the coming weeks as long as Travis Kelce remains healthy.
