Murray, who logged 15 carries for 48 yards and a TD and caught three passes for 11 yards in Sunday's 27-23 loss to the Rams, has an MRI scheduled after suffering a knee injury in the contest, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Mike Mularkey indicated after the game that "it didn't look good" with regard to Murray's injury, so it looks like Derrick Henry could head the team's backfield in next weekend's regular-season finale against the Jaguars.

Murray carried 18 times for 59 yards and caught one pass for an additional four yards in Sunday's 25-23 loss to the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Murray tied his season high in carries against one of the worst run defenses in the NFL, but he responded with just 3.3 yards per carry and a long run of 11 yards. This poor performance was perhaps a microcosm of Murray's season, as he's received plenty of opportunities but has surpassed 59 rushing yards two times in 14 games. He'll go up against a beatable Rams run defense next week, but there's no guarantee that useful fantasy returns will follow.

Titans head coach Mike Mularkey said that Murray's performance in Sunday's 12-7 loss to the Cardinals reinforced his status as the lead back ahead of Derrick Henry, Jason Wolf of The Tennessean reports.
EDGE Analysis
Murray was held to 34 yards on 11 caries and 13 yards on two receptions (three receptions), but Mularkey nonetheless believes that the veteran ran well. Henry was even less efficient with eight carries for 20 yards and no receptions, though he at least found the end zone for a second straight game. The shocking difference came in the snap department, where Murray held a 47-13 edge. That kind of wide gap has been commonplace when the Titans can't establish the run or are forced to abandon it, as Murray handles all of the work on passing downs. It's increasingly clear that Henry's strong work on the ground (4.9 YPC) isn't going to force Murray out of the picture this season, regardless of the veteran's struggles (3.7 YPC).

Murray carried 11 times for 34 yards and caught two of three targets for an additional 13 yards during Sunday's 12-7 loss to the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Murray led the team in touches, but he managed just 3.1 yards per carry and couldn't generate much as a pass catcher against a stout Cardinals front. Derrick Henry also struggled to the tune of 2.5 yards per carry, but he scored a six-yard touchdown in the second quarter -- his second score in as many games. The two backs continue to limit one another's fantasy upside on a weekly basis, though both will have the opportunity to produce next week against a 49ers run defense that ranks near the bottom of the NFL.

Murray rushed 11 times for 66 yards and caught both of his targets for 13 more yards in Sunday's 24-13 win over Houston.
EDGE Analysis
Murray's strong per-touch performance was overshadowed by a 75-yard Derrick Henry rushing touchdown to put this game away in the final minute. Each running back got 11 carries, but Murray's proficiency as a receiver out of the backfield continues to earn him a slight edge in overall touches. Both guys are worthy of lineup consideration every week, but each is struggling to maintain consistent value due to the other's presence.

Murray was a full participant in Friday's practice and doesn't carry an injury designation heading into Sunday's game against the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
The illness limited Murray's participation in Thursday's session, but the running back assuaged any concerns about his health by logging every rep Friday. More worrisome than Murray's health has been his diminished effectiveness as a runner since the Titans' Week 8 bye, with the veteran managing just 80 yards on 43 carries (1.8 average) over the last four games. Despite Murray's poor efficiency, head coach Mike Mularkey that the Titans will continue to lean on their "two starters" approach to the backfield like they have throughout the season, with Derrick Henry not expected to eat further into Murray's role just yet, according to Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com. Murray's aptitude as a receiver and pass blocker should be enough to keep him on the field fairly regularly even if his carries should fall over the final quarter of the season.

Murray (illness) was in attendance for the Titans' practice Friday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's not yet clear to what extent Murray was involved in Friday's practice, but his return to the field a day after sitting out with the illness suggests he'll be ready to go for Sunday's game against the Texans. While Murray remains the Titans' designated starting running back, head coach Mike Mularkey relayed that the team will continue to have a "two starters" mentality in the backfield, according to Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com, meaning that Derrick Henry's sizable role is unlikely to shrink anytime soon. In fact, given that Henry has been by far the team's most efficient runner over the last month, Murray would seem more susceptible of the two to losing carries, though the veteran's standing as the more productive receiver ensures his role on passing downs isn't in any jeopardy.

Murray (illness) missed Thursday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Murray should have enough time to recover from his illness in advance of Sunday's game against the Texans, though at this stage we suppose that he could end up listed as questionable for the contest. Murray could, however, be removed from the Titans' Week 13 injury report Friday, if he gets in a good practice session to close the team's week of preparation.

Murray rushed 12 times for nine yards and a touchdown while catching three of four targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 20-16 win over the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
Murray was outplayed by Derrick Henry (13 carries for 79 yards), but ended up having the stronger fantasy day. The veteran running back scored the go-ahead, one-yard touchdown with 5:59 left in the fourth quarter after his second-year counterpart did all the heavy lifting to put Tennessee in position to take the lead. Murray's four total touchdowns over the past three weeks have helped distract from the fact that he's managed only 61 rushing yards on 34 carries in that stretch.

Murray rushed eight times for 10 yards and brought in five of six targets for 37 yards in Thursday's 40-17 loss to the Steelers.
EDGE Analysis
Murray was thoroughly stymied on the ground but provided some measure of redemption through the air. The former Pro Bowler's numbers are down across the board this season, and he now has two games with no better than 2.1 yards per carry over his last three contests. He's only been over 4.0 yards per carry on three occasions this season, which came in Weeks 3-5. While he's averaged nearly three catches per game, it hasn't been enough to make up for the shortfall from a yardage standpoint, while his five total touchdowns are a relatively modest figure as well. Factor in an increasingly larger timeshare with Derrick Henry in the backfield, and Murray's overall fantasy stock has taken a notable tumble in all formats. He'll look to bounce back versus a suspect Colts defense in Week 12.
