Hopkins (ankle) is expected to play in Sunday's Week 2 matchup with the Chargers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hopkins was a non-participant at practice all week, but it looks like the Titans were simply exercising caution with their No. 1 pass catcher. Still, he has not officially been cleared to play. The veteran receiver hauled in seven passes on 13 targets for 65 yards in Week 1.

Tennessee lists Hopkins (ankle) as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hopkins was listed as a non-participant at practices Wednesday and Thursday and was absent during the media-access portion of Friday's session, but the lack of on-field activity this week apparently doesn't eliminate his chances of playing Sunday. Hopkins told John Glennon of NashvillePost.com on Friday that he's still been preparing this week as though he'll play Sunday, perhaps suggesting that his absences from practice may have been in part maintenance-related. Whatever the case, Hopkins' Week 2 status won't be resolved one way or the other until the Titans release their inactive list approximately 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff. If Hopkins ends up sidelined for the contest, wideouts Treylon Burks and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo would represent the top options in the passing game available to quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

Hopkins (ankle) isn't participating in Friday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hopkins sat out practices Wednesday and Thursday with the ankle injury, so his continued absence for the Titans' final Week 2 session isn't the most reassuring sign about his prospects of suiting up Sunday against the Chargers. During his previous stops in Houston and Arizona, Hopkins often missed practice time in a given week while still being active for game days, so fantasy managers may have some reason to be optimistic that his absences this week might have been at least in part maintenance-related. In any event, shortly after Friday's session concludes, the Titans will release their final Week 2 practice report, which will reveal whether Hopkins is ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers or if he carries an injury designation into the contest.

Hopkins (ankle) wasn't spotted at Thursday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hopkins didn't practice Wednesday, so the wideout's continued absence puts the focus firmly on what he's able to do at Friday's practice. On the plus side for the Titans, Treylon Burks was back on the field Thursday after missing Wednesday's session due to a personal matter. If Hopkins is out or limited Sunday against the Chargers, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and/or Chris Moore would be candidates to see added Week 2 opportunities.

Hopkins (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Meanwhile, fellow WR Treylon Burks was excused from practice Wednesday for personal reasons but is expected back Thursday. With a missed session under his belt due to an ankle issue, Hopkins' status is now worth monitoring as Sunday's game against the Chargers approaches. In the Titans' Week 1 loss to the Saints, Hopkins caught seven passes (on 13 targets) for 65 yards.

Hopkins recorded seven receptions on 13 targets for 65 yards in Sunday's 16-15 loss to the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
Hopkins got acclimated to the Tennessee offense quickly, as he was targeted on 38.2 percent of Ryan Tannehill's pass attempts. His efficiency was a different story, and he averaged only five yards per target while managing long gains of 16, 15 and 12 yards. Treylon Burks should see his role grow as the season moves forward, but Hopkins is clearly the top target in the Titans' offense.

Hopkins officially agreed to terms with the Titans on Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran wideout, who was let go by the Cardinals back in May, is thus in line to headline a Titans wideout corps that also features 2022 first-rounder Treylon Burks, as well as Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Kyle Philips and Chris Moore. Hopkins recorded a 64-717-3 receiving line on 96 targets in nine games with Arizona last season, but assuming the 31-year-old remains healthy, his looming role in Tennessee's offense should result in plenty of volume and, in turn, weekly fantasy relevance this coming season.

Hopkins is expected to sign with the Titans, Doug Kyed of AtoZSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kyed dropped the news Sunday, but he noted that the deal isn't expected to become official for a few days. This doesn't come as a surprise, as Hopkins was rumored to be deciding between either the Patriots or Titans, and over the last few days, it appeared Tennessee was turning up the heat in its pursuit of the three-time All-Pro wideout. Hopkins instantly becomes the No. 1 wide receiver for the Titans and will give whichever quarterback wins the starting job a steady, reliable target. The 31-year-old missed the first six games of the 2022 campaign due to a suspension, but he was productive across nine appearances with Arizona, totaling 64 receptions (on 96 targets) for 717 yards and three touchdowns.

Hopkins is taking his time weighing offers from the Patriots and Titans, hoping to get more teams involved, Chris Mason of The Springfield Republican reports.
EDGE Analysis
The two teams that have shown the most interest aren't especially likely to make deep playoff runs even if they add Hopkins to their currently undermanned WR rooms. The 31-year-old is perhaps hoping to drum up more interest this summer so he can sign with a better team and/or receive more money than he's currently being offered. Hopkins has about five weeks to decide before NFL teams open training camp and practice again, though he can get his hands on a new playbook sooner if he signs earlier in the summer.

Hopkins is reportedly slated to meet with the Patriots next week, Evan Lazar of the team's official site notes.
EDGE Analysis
The report relays that Hopkins, who was recently let go by the Cardinals, also plans to visit the Titans and potentially other teams in addition to the Patriots. If Hopkins ends up signing with New England, Lazar suggests that that the 31-year-old "would immediately give (the team's) offense a legit "X" receiver who would draw top coverage assignments, alter defensive game plans, and establish a proper pecking order in the Pats passing game." For now the Patriots' wideout corps is headed by JuJu Smith-Schuster, DeVante Parker, Tyquan Thornton and Kendrick Bourne, though if Hopkins entered the mix, it's possible that the team could consider moving on from either Parker or Bourne, according to Dakota Randall of NESN.com.
