Jaguars Re-Sign Daniel Thomas rotoballer.com Thu 3/7/24 12:37 PM

The Jacksonville Jaguars are re-signing safety Daniel Thomas to a two-year $4 million deal that can be worth as much as $6 million with incentives. Thomas was selected by Jacksonville in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft and has totaled 61 tackles and one interception in 56 career games. His return to the Jaguars gives the organization depth in the back-end and a special teams contributor.

Jaguars Go Defense Again With Safety Daniel Thomas rotoballer.com Sat 4/25/20 3:06 PM

The Jacksonville Jaguars selected a third member of the secondary by taking Auburn safety Daniel Thomas 157th overall. Thomas is a bigger player at 5-foot-10 and 215 pounds but has good speed for his size. He needs to improve his run-game support and tackling to be a consistent starter in the NFL. He'll begin his career as a backup with the chance to get on the field in extra-DB packages.
