Former Colts and Ravens TE Dallas Clark has retired from football. He'll formally retire as a Colt on Wednesday. A one-time Pro Bowler and All Pro (2009), Clark was one of the NFL's premier "move" tight ends with Peyton Manning in Indianapolis during the late 2000s. A sticky-handed possession threat, Clark finishes his career with 505 catches for 5,665 yards (11.2 YPR) and 53 touchdowns. Clark was a top-five fantasy tight end in 2007, 2008, and 2009. The 35-year-old spent 2012 with the Bucs and 2013 in Baltimore.

ESPN Ravens reporter Jamison Hensley admits there's "no chance" the team re-signs free agent Dallas Clark. Clark, 35 in June, is expected to retire if he doesn't find a market for his services, which will likely happen. The Ravens will try to sign Dennis Pitta to a long-term deal or franchise-tag him, while looking for another tight end in the draft to bolster the position.

Impending free agent TE Dallas Clark is undecided on if he wants to continue his playing career. Clark opened 2013 as a surprisingly large part of the Ravens' offense, but was a healthy scratch each of the final four weeks. When Clark did take the field, he looked like a player who was near, if not already at, the end. Last offseason, Clark went unsigned until mid-August. Extremely unlikely to generate interest on the open market, Clark will likely opt to hang up his cleats.

Dallas Clark is inactive for Week 14 against the Vikings. With Dennis Pitta (hip) making his 2013 debut, Clark is a healthy scratch. Clark was once a great pass-catching force, but it's possible he's in the final month of his career.

Dallas Clark managed three receptions for 24 yards in the Ravens' Week 12 win over the Jets. Clark was a non-factor aside from dump-off, check-down passes from Joe Flacco, which has mostly been the case all season. He doesn't block well, so he doesn't play on early downs, and at age 34 Clark can no longer stretch the seam. Clark is not worth fantasy ownership in 12- or 14-team leagues.

Dallas Clark caught a one-yard touchdown in Week 10 against the Bengals. Clark was targeted just twice on the day. On his touchdown, Joe Flacco made a play to his right and found an open Clark to kick off the scoring for the Ravens. Clark's ceiling is extremely low. He's barely on the fantasy radar.

Dallas Clark caught one pass for 14 yards in Week 9 versus the Browns. Clark saw just the one target. He's been far too inconsistent this season to possess any real fantasy value. Clark's ceiling is extremely low.

Dallas Clark caught three passes for nine yards with a touchdown in Sunday's Week 7 loss at Pittsburgh. Clark's touchdown came with 2:02 left in the fourth quarter and tied the game. He did well to wriggle free of Ryan Clark in the back of the end zone. Still, Clark is a shell of his former self and needs tons of volume to put up helpful statlines. We'd move on to a tight end with higher upside during the Ravens' Week 8 bye.

Dallas Clark caught four passes for 81 yards and a touchdown in Baltimore's Week 6 loss to the Packers. With just 2:04 remaining, Clark made an excellent 18-yard catch in traffic for his first touchdown of the season. Clark now has at least four catches in four of six games, but has posted more than 46 yards only twice. He's averaging just 3.3 grabs. He's a middling TE2.
