Palmer completed 29-of-45 passes for 421 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions Sunday against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
The yardage output was the veteran's highest mark since Week 9 of the 2006 season, as the Cardinals fell behind in the second half and strayed away from the running game. Palmer threw multiple interceptions for the first time this season, but he still sports a very strong 14:5 TD:INT ratio. Week 7 presents an excellent bounce-back opportunity for Palmer and company, as the Ravens, who rank near the very bottom of the league in pass defense, will travel to Arizona.

Palmer completed 11-of-14 passes for 161 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 42-17 win at Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Palmer didn't need to do much, as the Cardinals controlled throughout, and he was pulled for backup QB Drew Stanton midway through the fourth quarter with the game in hand. While Palmer had a solid statistical game in Week 4, it wasn't his finest outing, so he rebounded nicely Sunday. He continues to show a great rapport with John Brown and Larry Fitzgerald, as the wideout duo combined to catch 9-of-11 targets for 128 yards and two touchdowns. The veteran QB will play in a tough environment in Week 6 at Pittsburgh, although the Steelers' defense is not as strong as recent seasons.

Palmer completed 29-of-46 pass attempts for 352 yards with one touchdown and an interception in Sunday's 24-22 loss to the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
Palmer didn't play poorly, but it was his stiffest challenge of the season, and he looked a little out of sorts on a few occasions, stalling on the Rams' side of the field (K Chandler Catanzaro had five FGs). The veteran QB had been sacked just one time entering Sunday's game, but the Rams' pass rush got to him four times. On a positive note, Palmer got wideout Michael Floyd involved more, as the duo hooked up five times for 59 yards. He'll face the Lions on the road in Week 5.

Palmer completed 20-of-32 pass attempts for 311 yards, with two touchdowns and an interception, in Sunday's 47-7 win over San Francisco.
EDGE Analysis
Palmer had somewhat of a quiet first half because the Cardinals scored a couple of defensive touchdowns and got a pair of scores from Chris Johnson. The veteran QB kept throwing though, as both of his touchdowns to Larry Fitzgerald came in the second half. Palmer continues to play well, with a 9-2 TD:INT ration through three games this season. Even without Andre Ellington (knee), Palmer has a plethora of weapons at his disposal, so he could be in line for a big season. He'll have a tough test in Week 4, however, facing a solid Rams' defense.

Palmer completed 17 of 24 passes for 185 yards and four touchdowns Sunday against the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
While he did throw one interception, Palmer was excellent Sunday, throwing three touchdowns to Larry Fitzgerald (eight catches on nine targets for 112 yards) and one to Jaron Brown. The return of wideout Michael Floyd (fingers) didn't do much for his own fantasy output (no catches on one target), but Palmer surely didn't seem affected by it. Palmer will head into a solid Week 3 matchup against the 49ers with seven touchdowns in just two games this season.

Palmer completed 19-of-32 attempts for 307 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 31-19 win over New Orleans.
EDGE Analysis
Despite a lower completion percentage, Palmer was strong, as he posted a 9.6 YPA, while not taking a sack nor committing a turnover. He was clutch in the fourth quarter, tossing two of his three touchdowns, including a back-breaking 55-yard strike to rookie David Johnson. Palmer featured second-year wideout John Brown in the first half, and then started peppering veteran Larry Fitzgerald in the second half. While it was a strong performance from Palmer, he might be without his top back Andre Ellington, who left the game in the second half with a knee injury.

Palmer (knee) completed eight of 22 passes for 103 yards, with no touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's preseason game against the Raiders.
EDGE Analysis
Palmer and his offensive line were equally bad, though Raiders LB Khalil Mack also deserves credit for a dominant first-half performance. The poor showing isn't too concerning, especially after Palmer played well in Arizona's first two preseason games. He'll likely skip the exhibition finale, ahead of a favorable Week 1 home matchup with the Saints.

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer has been cleared for all drills ahead of the opening of training camp Saturday, according to Fox Sports 910 Phoenix. Palmer missed a majority of last season after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee in October, but head coach Bruce Arians announced that Palmer will not be restricted in any way during training camp. “He’s totally cleared,” Arians told AZCentral.com. "Once he went through minicamp with flying colors … he’ll get his normal reps. It’ll pretty much be no different than we’ve done it in the past. We’ll see where he’s at and what he needs in each game. Same thing with (backup) Drew (Stanton). I know they can play on Sundays, but they still have to be game-speed ready." Palmer threw for 1,626 yards and 11 touchdowns before suffering the injury in Week 9.

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer expects to be healthy heading into the season after playing just six games last season because of a torn ACL, according to the team's official website. Palmer said he is not limited in any way as the preseason approaches, but he is continuing a rehab schedule as a precautionary measure to ensure he will be ready to play in Week 1. “I’m not even thinking about my knee,” Palmer said. “I’m still rehabbing just to be on the safe side of things but I don’t need to be at rehab. I’m full go in the weight room, full go on the field, and until it’s brought up, I haven’t thought about what I’m not doing because I’m doing everything I was doing.” Palmer tallied 11 touchdowns and three interceptions prior to sustaining the injury against the St. Louis Rams in November.

Palmer (knee) made a slight adjustment to his throwing mechanics during his rehabilitation, SI.com reports. "It will help my completion percentage, it will help with my accuracy and it will also help us as a unit, because I won't be making my left tackle's job as difficult," he said. "In turn, I'll be able to step into more throws. As I'm getting to my second and third and fourth read, I'm holding onto the ball a little bit longer and that pocket is getting slowly smaller, so it will give me more room to work with inside the pocket because I will be more centrally located." As he embarked upon the early stages of his recovery from a torn ACL in his left knee, Palmer noticed in film study of last season that he was placing weight on his heels rather than the balls of his feet on reads on the left side of the field. While he's unlikely to experience a substantial improvement in his completion percentage in 2014 -- he completed 62.9 percent, which is a shade above his career mark of 62.6 -- his feverish rehab effort and expected offseason workouts with the likes of John Brown could have the desired effect. In any case, Palmer is expected to be a full participant once training camp kicks off at the end of July.
