Randolph inked a two-year, $24 million contract with the Kings on Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

EDGE Analysis

Almost immediately after the news of the Kings signing George Hill to a three-year deal, word came down the pipeline that Randolph too had signed an offer with the Kings. Both moves are somewhat perplexing considering the assumed rebuilding nature of the Kings, though the team is certainly still at the bottom of the barrel in the Western Conference and could continue to accrue lottery picks. Randolph, a 16-year NBA veteran, will likely mentor the young Kings frontcourt while possibly seeing a sixth man role similar to what he played in Memphis last season. During the 2016-17 campaign, Z-Bo averaged 14.1 points on 44.9 percent from the field and 8.2 boards across 24.5 minutes per game.

Randolph, a pending unrestricted free agent, was asked about his future with the Grizzlies and said he'd like to return, Ronald Tillery of Sports56 reports. "That's my goal," said the veteran power forward.

EDGE Analysis

Randolph saw roughly five fewer minutes per game on average compared to last season, though he still managed a respectable 14.1 points per appearance and even saw a spike in rebounds (8.2). He's already spent eight seasons in Memphis and that's his longest with any team since Portland drafted him 19th overall in 2001.

Randolph tallied 21 points (9-16 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds and one block over 29 minutes during Thursday's 105-94 win over the Spurs in Game 3 of the Western Conference first-round playoffs.

EDGE Analysis

The veteran was inserted into the starting five in an effort to spice up the Grizzlies offense and validated coach David Fizdale's decision by tying Marc Gasol for the second-highest scoring total on the night. Randolph actually took a team-high amount of shot attempts and paced Memphis in rebounds as well. While his scoring presence is missed on the second unit, Randolph could well be in for another start in Saturday's Game 4 given his level of production.

Randolph will draw the start at power forward for Thursday's Game 3 matchup against the Spurs, Rob Fischer of FOX Sports Southeast reports.

EDGE Analysis

With the team down 0-2 in the series, the Grizzlies will opt to switch things up, inserting Randolph into the starting five in place of JaMychal Green. It's unclear how drastic of a minutes change Randolph will see, as he's averaged 31.0 minutes per game over the past two contests. That being said, the Grizzlies have their backs against the wall, so it seems likely that their veteran forward will see as many minutes as he can handle provided the game stays close.

Randolph recorded 18 points (9-18 FG, 0-1 3Pt), 10 rebounds, three steals and one assist across 36 minutes during a 96-82 loss to the Spurs on Monday.

EDGE Analysis

After a struggle in the opening game of the series, Randolph was back to his normal self in Game 2 in the double-double effort. Monday's game also marked a bit of a rarity, as he racked up three steals for the first time since Jan. 8. Randolph received 10 more minutes in Game 2 with the game being more competitive, and will likely see minutes in the mid-30s for the remainder of the series.

Randolph finished with six points (3-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist across 26 minutes during Saturday's 111-82 loss to the Spurs.

EDGE Analysis

Randolph struggled against the stingy Spurs defense, missing 10 of his 13 shots from the field and only grabbing three rebounds. The performance was reminiscent of his recent 1-for-8 dud against the Knicks on April 7, where he dropped just two points, grabbed four rebounds and dished one assist. He will look to have a better outing in the team's next game against the Spurs, though with the likes of LeMarcus Aldridge, Dewayne Dedmon, David Lee and Pau Gasol likely all tasked with defending him, it certainly won't be a cakewalk.

Randolph scored 15 points (7-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT) while adding five rebounds and two assists across 20 minutes in Wednesday's 100-93 loss to the Mavericks.

EDGE Analysis

After receiving a rest day Sunday and with the Grizzlies already in the playoffs, the team had no issue restricting Randolph's minutes in the final game. His minutes have been up and down all season in an effort to preserve him for the playoffs, and now the time has come to let the reigns off and give the double-double machine a chance to make a big impact in their opening round series. The 14.1 points per game and 8.2 rebounds per game he averaged on the year should see a slight uptick in the postseason.

Randolph will be rested for Sunday's game against Detroit, Ronald Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.

EDGE Analysis

With the playoffs approaching, the Grizzlies will build in a day of rest for the veteran forward, but he'll likely return to action for the regular season finale Wednesday against Dallas. Randolph played only 15 minutes Friday against the Knicks, finishing with two points, four rebounds and an assist.

Randolph posted 18 points (7-21 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 16 rebounds, two assists and two steals across 35 minutes during a 95-89 overtime loss to the Spurs on Tuesday.

EDGE Analysis

Randolph chucked up a season-high 21 field goal attempts and matched a season high with 16 rebounds in the double-double performance. With Marc Gasol (foot) returning from injury and Mike Conley (eye) leaving due to injury during the game, Randolph ended up being the team's No. 1 offensive option. The 35 minutes marked Randolph's highest total since Jan. 25. If Conley is forced to miss time, Randolph will continue to be one of the team's main offensive weapons.

Randolph posted 22 points (8-14 FG, 6-6 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists and one steal over 31 minutes in Friday's 99-90 win over the Mavericks.

EDGE Analysis

Randolph recorded his 19th double-double of the season, which is impressive when you consider he's played 63 of his 68 games off the bench. This kind of stat could very well make him the NBA's most prolific sixth man, so Lou Williams might need to move over. Randolph is especially valuable as a great cash play in DFS formats due to his dependability and cheap price, and he'll continue to serve as a stable option in all formats as the season closes.
