After signing a deal with the Wizards just under a week ago, Lawson came out in Game 2 and played 31 minutes off the bench, providing a spark shooting from deep by connecting on four threes. After seeing no time in Game 1, Lawson saw more run than anyone expected, and it seems as though the team is comfortable letting him operate as the third guard in the rotation with John Wall and Bradley Beal for the rest of the series.

Lawson has only played in half of the Kings' last three games, and will likely be unavailable for the season finale Wednesday against the Clippers, as Darren Collison (head) is expected to reenter the lineup in his stead.

While Lawson continues to demonstrate that he's capable of being a relevant fantasy player, coach Dave Joerger has opted to play his younger players, a category which Lawson does not fall into, much more often after being eliminated from playoff contention. Due to his recent trend of being rested, Lawson likely makes for a drop candidate in the majority of fantasy formats.
