Wroten amassed 10 points (4-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-6 FT), 14 assists, three rebounds, one steal and one block during Thursday's 134-129 win over Santa Cruz.
EDGE Analysis
As he was only averaging 3.2 assists prior, Wroten's career high 14 assists Thursday came out of nowhere, as he was able to produce his second double-double this season. The 6-5 guard from Washington is adding 10.6 points and 3.6 assists per contest over 34 games played for Rio Valley Grande.

Wroten was waived by the Grizzlies, the team announced Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Over the past four months, Wroten has been claimed, waived, signed and waived again by the Grizzlies, but it looks like now, the point guard's tenure with the team is officially over as they trim their roster down with the regular season approaching. The waiving of Wroten cuts the Memphis roster down to 19 players and leaves Wade Baldwin and Andrew Harrison to compete for the backup point guard spot behind Mike Conley.

Wroten signed a contract with the Grizzlies on Monday, Kevin Lipe of the Memphis Flyer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wroten has been waived twice over the last month and half, with the most recent time coming mid-July by the Grizzlies themselves. There was always some mutual interest to bring back Wroten for training camp, so he'll return to the team and will have to fight for a final roster spot. The 23-year-old guard would slot in as depth in the backcourt if he makes the team, but likely wouldn't see significant minutes.

Wroten was waived by the Grizzlies on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Wroten will re-enter free agency with hopes to be picked up by another team. Wroten was already waived by the Knicks after the acquisition of Derrick Rose in June. Now that the Grizzlies have retained Mike Conley, there is no longer a need for Wroten. If he is picked up again, he'll most likely be used for depth at the point guard position.

Wroten was claimed off waivers by the Grizzlies on Sunday, Ian Begley of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wroten was waived by the Knicks earlier in the week, after they needed to make room on the roster for the Derrick Rose trade to go through. The Grizzlies decided they wanted to give Wroten a look, so they'll pick up the 23-year-old guard. With Mike Conley headed to free agency, Wroten is an insurance option in the backcourt, but likely won't see significant minutes once the regular season rolls around.

Wroten was waived by the Knicks on Wednesday, Al Iannazzone of Newsday Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wroten played in just eight games with the Sixers last season while coming back from a torn ACL, but was eventually cut and picked up by the Knicks in March. The Knicks brought him in for some rehab with the expectation that he could be a future asset once healthy, however, after Wednesday's trade where they picked up both Derrick Rose and Justin Holiday, Wroten became expendable and was let go. Wroten will head to the free agent market, but should find a number of suitors on the open market who at least want to give him a shot on their Summer League team in July.

Wroten (knee) is expected to play for the Knicks' entry in the Orlando Summer League, Marc Berman of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cut by the 76ers last December after looking rusty in his return from a torn ACL, Wroten ended up inking a contract with the Knicks in March, even though the team had no intention of playing him. Instead, the Knicks viewed the 6-foot-6 point guard as more of a future asset, and instructed him to spend more time rehabbing his right ACL before possibly entering the backcourt mix in 2016-17. Over the last seven weeks since the regular season concluded, Wroten has made noticeable progress in his recovery, with reports indicating that he's been cleared for full contact. Though Wroten is entering his fifth season and is much more experienced than the typical Summer League player, he still has something to prove after playing just eight games since January 2015, and is hoping to showcase the same explosiveness he had before requiring the surgery to repair his ACL. If he thrives during the Summer League and training camp, he could make a legitimate run at the starting point guard job.

Interim coach Kurt Rambis confirmed Wroten (knee) won't play in any of the final 11 games of the Knicks' season, Newsday's Al Iannazzone reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rambis indicated that Wroten, who officially signed with the Knicks last week, still has "deficiencies" in his right leg, so he'll continue to work on strengthening the knee over the next few weeks while he turns his attention to being 100 percent healthy for the start of training camp in the fall. Wroten returned from a partially torn right ACL in December while he was still a member of the 76ers, but averaged a woeful 8.4 points (on 33.8% shooting) and 3.6 turnovers across 18 minutes in his eight appearances with the team before he was ultimately released.

Wroten (knee) officially signed with the Knicks on Wednesday, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Knicks began working on contract negotiations with Wroten over a week ago, but with the team finally having a chance to vet the point guard's medical reports and find common ground with his agent, he's now officially a member of the 15-man roster. Wroten is believed to have signed a two-year, partially-guaranteed contract, but the team seems to be eyeing him as a contributor for the 2016-17 season. Team president Phil Jackson admitted over the weekend that Wroten still requires "a lot of medical attention," as the 22-year-old looked supremely rusty upon returning from a torn right ACL in December. During eight games with the 76ers prior to his release, Wroten averaged 8.4 points on 33.8 percent shooting to go along with a eye-popping 3.6 turnovers across 18 minutes. He's only expected to practice with the Knicks over the remaining 14 games on their schedule, so the playing time of Jose Calderon, Langston Galloway, and Jerian Grant should be safe.

Wroten likely won't play this season for the Knicks because he requires "a lot of medical attention" for an unknown problem, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's some good news and bad news for Wroten, as while he is likely out for the season, Phil Jackson at least seems interested in giving the young point guard the opportunity to take over point guard long term. "He's a big point guard, a tall kid that can do things," Jackson said. "Our process is going on, it's a little underground, a little beneath the surface but this is one of our desires, that we have to have a penetrator and we have to have somebody that can handle those roles." The 22-year-old's next step is likely trying to impress in the summer league.
