Rubio amassed seven points (2-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds, 12 assists and four steals over 21 minutes during Wednesday's 124-89 victory over the Rockets.

EDGE Analysis

Rubio and Darius Garland both finished with a whopping plus-30 in the box score. Rubio racked up four steals and was the only Cavalier to record more than four assists. He's the best distributor on Cleveland's roster and is currently averaging 9.1 assists per 40 minutes. Also, his usage rate of 25.7 is the highest mark of his career.

Rubio ended Friday's 123-106 victory over the Timberwolves with six points (2-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds and eight assists in 23 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

Rubio struggled to find his range from the field but salvaged an otherwise disappointing night by dishing out eight assists. Now that the Cavaliers are close to full health, Rubio has seen his role regress to being more in line with what we expected it to be. His upside in assists and steals makes him a viable 12-team asset, although he obviously isn't going to be for everyone.

Rubio contributed 15 points (6-11 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 31 minutes during Sunday's 109-108 loss to the Jazz.

EDGE Analysis

The Cavs would like to see Isaac Okoro develop into Collin Sexton's replacement for the remainder of the season, but Rubio has been more dependable in the backcourt opposite Darius Garland. The veteran directly correlated with Okoro's court time in the loss, with Rubio finishing out the final five minutes of the game. Sunday's rotation indicates that they trust Rubio more in a close matchup.

Rubio finished with 15 points (5-20 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 3-6 FT), five assists, four rebounds and a steal Wednesday, as the Cavaliers fell to the Suns 120-115.

EDGE Analysis

Rubio's contributions were blemished by inefficiency, and he has failed to shoot 50 percent from the field in eight consecutive contests. Rubio is in the midst of an interesting career renaissance, with career highs in field goals and threes attempted, as well as points, despite a 37.1 shooting percentage, which falls below his career average. His usage rate is at an all-time high, which lends credibility to his fantasy outlook. He will look to regain some efficiency when Cleveland plays Orlando on Saturday.

Rubio will come off the bench Monday against the Nets.

EDGE Analysis

The veteran guard started the past three games but will return to the bench for Monday's contest with Lauri Markkanen (COVID-19 protocols) rejoining the lineup. Rubio has averaged 12.8 points, 6.5 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.5 steals over 27.7 minutes in his 12 appearances as a reserve this year.

Rubio closed with 25 points (8-17 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four rebounds and five assists over 33 minutes during Wednesday's 109-99 loss to the Nets.

EDGE Analysis

With Evan Mobley (elbow) sidelined, Rubio was one of the Cavaliers who stepped up. Rubio's scoring was rising even before Mobley's injury, so fantasy managers rostering the guard have to be thrilled about the development. Over the past six games, Rubio is averaging 21.8 points, 6.3 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals.

Rubio registered 25 points (8-17 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five assists and four rebounds in Wednesday's 109-99 loss to the Nets.

EDGE Analysis

With the Cavaliers banged up at all levels, Rubio once again took a healthy offensive workload, attempting at least 15 shots for the third straight game and sixth time since November 7. Even once most of the frontcourt returns from their respective injuries, the 31-year-old will likely have a place in the starting lineup for awhile with Collin Sexton (knee) out indefinitely.

Rubio recorded 28 points (9-20 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 6-7 FT), six rebounds and two assists over 37 minutes during Monday's 98-92 loss to Boston.

EDGE Analysis

Rubio put together a strong scoring performance in this one, finishing with his second-best scoring total of the young season. After being held to just five total points in his first two games of November, he's responded by averaging 19.5 over his last six matchups.

Rubio will start Monday's game against the Celtics, Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

Jarrett Allen (illness) will not be available, so the Cavs will be forced to go with a smaller lineup featuring Rubio and Darius Garland in the backcourt and Isaac Okoro and Dean Wade at the forward spots. Evan Mobley will slide up to fill Allen's customary center position. Rubio is coming off of a 16-point, seven-assist, five-rebound, one-steal effort in Saturday's 91-89 win over the Celtics in Cleveland.

Rubio chipped in 16 points (4-17 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Saturday's 91-89 win against the Celtics.

EDGE Analysis

The veteran point guard continues to struggle with his shot -- he has made just 12 of 41 field-goal attempts over his past three games -- but Rubio is playing plenty of minutes and producing enough across-the-board value to hold substantial fantasy value. Despite coming off the bench in all but two contests this season, he ranks among the top 25 leaguewide in assists (6.9) and steals (1.5) per game.
