Rubio has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Pelicans due to left knee injury management.

EDGE Analysis

Rubio has been eased into action over the last month following a lengthy absence to begin the season, but he'll be unavailable for the first half of a back-to-back set Friday. Raul Neto, Caris LeVert and Cedi Osman are candidates to see a slight uptick in playing time.

Rubio (knee) is not listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Pistons.

EDGE Analysis

Rubio sat out the second leg of a back-to-back set on Monday, but he should return to the floor for Wednesday's game. Rubio has been heating up over the past five games, averaging 7.2 points, 5.8 assists, 1.6 triples, 1.0 steal and just 1.0 turnover per contest, so he could be worth a look in deep leagues if you need some dimes.

Rubio has been ruled out for Monday's matchup against the Wizards due to left knee injury management, Danny Cunningham of 850 ESPN Cleveland reports.

EDGE Analysis

Rubio will sit out the second half of the Cavaliers' current back-to-back set to manage his surgically repaired left knee. Since making his season debut Jan. 12, the veteran point guard has appeared in 11 of 13 contests and is averaging 5.7 points, 3.8 assists and 2.6 rebounds in 16.2 minutes per game. In his absence, Raul Neto and Cedi Osman are candidates for increased roles behind Darius Garland.

Rubio (knee) is off the injury report for Sunday's game against the Clippers.

EDGE Analysis

Rubio will be available Sunday after sitting out the second half of a back-to-back set due to injury management. In his seven appearances this season, the veteran has averaged 4.6 points, 2.9 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 14.6 minutes.

Rubio has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Thunder due to left knee injury management.

EDGE Analysis

Rubio played 17 minutes off the bench and totaled five points (2-7 FG), seven assists, three rebounds and one steal during Thursday's win over the Rockets. However, the veteran forward is coming off a lengthy rehab following ACL surgery and will take the second night of Cleveland's back-to-back set off to rest his left knee. Donovan Mitchell (groin) is doubtful for Friday's contest, so it looks like Darius Garland and Caris LeVert will operate as the Cavaliers' starting backcourt, while Raul Neto and Cedi Osman could see increased roles off the bench.

Rubio chipped in five points (2-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt), three rebounds, seven assists and one steal over 17 minutes during Thursday's 113-95 victory over the Rockets.

EDGE Analysis

Rubio continues to play a limited role off the bench and has not scored more than nine points in any of his games. However, he was able to dish out a season-high seven assists in the win. The fact he remains limited even with Donovan Mitchell (hamstring) sidelined tells you everything you need to know about his role moving forward. The Cavaliers want to have him up and running come the playoffs, meaning he could be locked in at no more than 20 minutes per night, at least for the foreseeable future.

Rubio (knee) is available for Saturday's game against the Bucks.

EDGE Analysis

Rubio will be back in the rotation following a rest day on the front end of the Cavaliers' Friday/Saturday back-to-back. He could see an increased role with Donovan Mitchell (groin) sidelined.

Rubio has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Warriors due to left knee injury management.

EDGE Analysis

Rubio appeared in the last four matchups and averaged 5.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 13.0 minutes per game. However, after missing nearly three months to begin the regular season, he'll rest for the first half of a back-to-back set Friday to preserve his long-term health. Raul Neto is a candidate to see increased run against Golden State.

Coach J.B. Bickerstaff expects Rubio to play approximately 15 minutes during Monday's game against the Pelicans, Spencer Davies of BasketballNews.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

Rubio made his season debut Thursday against the Trail Blazers after recovering from a torn ACL. He played 10 minutes against Portland before playing 13 minutes Saturday against Minnesota, and the Cavaliers will continue to ease him into action following his lengthy layoff.

Rubio closed Thursday's 119-113 win over the Trail Blazers with nine points (3-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and one assist over 10 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

Rubio logged 10 minutes off the bench, making his first appearance of the season after recovering from a knee injury. Despite missing more than 12 months, he looked relatively locked in, connecting on a pair of corner threes while running the offense in true Rubio style. The Cavaliers are going to ease him back slowly given the depth they have at the guard position. It is unlikely he becomes anything more than a streaming option in standard fantasy formats, and managers may have to wait a few weeks before we even reach that point.
