Robinson was waived by Homenetmen Beirut B.C. of the Lebanese Basketball League after it was revealed that an injury he has requires further treatment, Sam Amico of AmicoHoops.net reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robinson suffered an undisclosed injury while playing in the BIG3 over the summer. He may attempt to sign with another overseas team once he's healthy.

Robinson signed a contract Tuesday with Homenetmen Beirut B.C. of the Lebanese Basketball League, Sportando.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 34-year-old point guard last appeared in the NBA during the 2015-16 season, suiting up in two games for the Pelicans. Given his age and declining athleticism, Robinson seems unlikely to resurface in the NBA again, but it appears the three-time slam dunk champion isn't ready to call it a career just yet.

Robinson is expected to make his debut for the Delaware 87ers on Tuesday against the Maine Red Claws.
EDGE Analysis
In an attempt to make it back to the NBA, Robinson will join the 87ers, marking his return to action after appearing in only two NBA games last season. The 32-year-old, who concluded last season overseas, has never played in the D-League.

Robinson agreed to a contract Monday with Hapoel Tel Aviv of Israel, according to international basketball reporter David Pick.
EDGE Analysis
Robinson appeared in two games with the Pelicans in October, but was released after the team decided to pursue other options at point guard on the waiver market. After failing to attract interest from any other NBA teams as a bench scorer, Robinson, a former defensive back with the Washington Huskies for one season in college, recently said that he was entertaining a possible football career, but he'll ultimately opt to stay with his current sport. He'll likely finish out the season in Israel before looking to earn a tryout opportunity with another NBA squad in training camp next fall.

Robinson has been waived by the Pelicans.
EDGE Analysis
Appearing in just two games for New Orleans, Robinson averaged 2.0 assists and 0.5 steals before being waived Thursday. With the return of guard Jrue Holiday to the lineup, Robinson's role would've been very restricted had the team kept him around. The Pelicans' roster stands at 14 with Robinson's departure.

Robinson will be in the starting lineup for Tuesday's season opener against the Warriors, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jrue Holiday is being held out for rest, so Robinson moves into the starting lineup to take his place. With Holiday sitting this game out and reportedly being on a 20-minute restriction for the start of the season, Robinson should continue to get plenty of game action. There's a very good chance Holiday returns for Wednesday's outing with the Trail Blazers, which will then push Robinson back into a bench role.

Robinson collected 18 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), a rebound, and two steals over 26 minutes in Wednesday's 110-107 loss to the Magic.
EDGE Analysis
Robinson's recent meteoric rise on the point guard depth chart due to injuries to Tyreke Evans (knee) and Norris Cole (ankle) has landed him as the primary backup to a minutes-restricted Jrue Holiday to start the regular season, meaning that the veteran should be the recipient of a healthy heaping of court time. He enjoyed a productive tune-up for his new expanded role with a very strong night from the field, and particularly from beyond the arc. The 31-year-old had actually put together productive outings in his other two preseason contests prior to Wednesday, but his elevated level of play against the Magic was surely a welcome sight to a Pelicans squad that will count on him rather heavily in the early going of the 2015-16 campaign.

Robinson is in line for unexpected minutes at the onset of the regular season with injuries to Tyreke Evans (knee), Norris Cole (ankle), and a minutes restriction on Jrue Holiday.
EDGE Analysis
Currently Robinson and Holiday are the only point guards on the New Orleans roster with legitimate NBA experience, and with Holiday being restricted to just 15 minutes per game until January, Robinson will likely have significant value in the early goings of the 2015-16 campaign. Typically in the past he's proven his ability to score, dish out assists, garner steals, and convert from beyond the arc.

Robinson (knee) is unlikely to return to the Clippers after the team signed Lester Hudson on Sunday, the Orange County Register reports. Robinson has been seeing minutes off the bench in the absence of Jamal Crawford, but his second 10-day contract expired earlier in the week, and the Clippers have been holding off on signing him for the rest of the season as he battles a bone bruise on his knee. With Robinson unable to contribute, the team was forced to look elsewhere, hence the decision to bring in Hudson. Hudson will remain with the team for at least 10 days, but after his deal expires it's conceivable to think the Clippers may look to re-sign Robinson, who is a more familiar face with playoff experience.
