Coach Kevin McHale cited conditioning when asked about Kyle Lowry's limited minutes.
Lowry has averaged just 19.8 minutes per game since returning to action. "It's hard. He hasn't played a lot. He's trying to get his conditioning back," McHale said. Complicating matters is that Goran Dragic continues to play at an All-Star level. Lowry's a high-risk fantasy option right now.

Kyle Lowry played just 13 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Nuggets.
There's no real explanation here. Courtney Lee played 34 minutes and Chase Budinger got hot, so he saw 34 minutes as well. Lowry had played at least 20 minutes in each of the three previous games, so we're not panicking yet. Kevin McHale is still likely to give Lowry and Goran Dragic minutes together when it works.

Kyle Lowry scored 11 points on 2-of-5 shooting (including a three) with seven assists and a steal in 26 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Lowry is producing well enough to start in many formats, and should certainly be owned across the board. Kevin McHale is committed to playing Lowry alongside Goran Dragic, and though the Rockets have not won with the combo it would be a bit of a surprise to see McHale go away from it.

Kyle Lowry (bacterial infection) said he feels ready to play more minutes.
"Coach is getting a feel for me again," Lowry said. "I feel I'm good to go and play heavier minutes." Since returning, Lowry hasn't played more than 23 minutes, but he's only been back for three games and the Rockets likely want to ease him in after a lengthy absence. Houston has five games next week, and Lowry should be owned in all leagues as a result. Barring some sort of unforeseen setback, Lowry's arrow can only go up from here.

Kyle Lowry came off the bench for 15 points, four rebounds, five assists and a 3-pointer in 20 minutes on Wednesday.
Goran Dragic looks like the starting point guard until further notice, but Lowry's minutes are going to increase with time. It looks like he'll play alongside Dragic quite often, with Courtney Lee taking more of a minutes hit than Dragic. But with five games next week, all three players should be owned in most fantasy leagues.

Kyle Lowry scored 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting (including a three) with four rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 23 minutes off the bench on Monday against the Blazers.
Lowry looks like he'll attack the minutes of Courtney Lee as much, if not more than he will take from Goran Dragic (41 minutes, 22 points, seven assists). As for Lowry's value, he showed us a low-end line tonight and as long as there are no setbacks in his conditioning we see no reason why he can't keep it up. He should be owned in most, if not all formats.

Kyle Lowry (bacterial infection) said he felt "awesome" Sunday night following his first game in a month.
Coach Kevin McHale said he was "pleasantly surprised" by Lowry's wind after 17 minutes. He didn't say if/when Lowry will get back in the starting five, but did rave about the way Goran Dragic has been playing. We'd expect to see the two of them together on the court some as Lowry slowly ramps up his minutes.

Kyle Lowry returned from his infection on Sunday and had one point and seven assists in 18 minutes of an easy win over the Kings.
Lowry's been out since March 7, missing 15 straight games, so it's going to take him some time to get back in basketball shape. He looked fine tonight, but we wouldn't recommend using him in the upcoming week unless you're short on options. Goran Dragic should get plenty of minutes for at least another week, and looks like a much better option if you own both players.

Kyle Lowry could play a few minutes in Sunday's game after missing several weeks with an abdominal injury and infection.
It sounds like Kevin McHale may give him a few minutes tonight to "get his feet wet," which could be bad news for Goran Dragic next week.

Kyle Lowry went through a light practice on Saturday, one month after he was sidelined by a viral infection.
Beat writer Jonathan Feigen notes that it was "more shootaround than practice," but it's still encouraging for the Rockets. There has been no mention of a specific return date, so hold off on grabbing him -- Goran Dragic's incredible streak as a starter isn't endangered just yet.
