Kyle Lowry left Tuesday's game in the second quarter after stepping on Serge Ibaka's foot and suffering a sprained right ankle. He put no weight on the ankle as he left and was laying on the floor groaning out in pain until being attended to by team doctors. There's no way to know how severe the injury is, but it didn't look good and he will not return to the game. Based on his reaction we're guessing this could be a severe sprain and he could miss significant time. Jose Calderon will run the offense for as long as Lowry is out. This is a real tough break for owners, as Lowry was playing as well as anyone in the league through Week 1.

Kyle Lowry finish Sunday's win with 22 points, two 3-pointers, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals. The only unusual facet of his night was an 8-of-10 mark from the field. Otherwise, this elite production is what fantasy owners can expect from a healthy K-Low, and we're not going to report it as 'news' going forward.

The Raptors lost in Brooklyn on Saturday despite Kyle Lowry's game-high 28 points, four 3-pointers, eight rebounds, eight assists, three steals and one block. How well has Lowry begun his career with the Raptors? In his first two games, he became the first player since Morris Peterson in 2006 to record back-to-back games with 20+ points, 6+ rebounds and 6+ assists. Best of all, there are zero signs of the groin/abdominal injury that reared up in the preseason.

Kyle Lowry started at point guard for the Raptors on Wednesday and had 21 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, five steals and two 3-pointers in 36 minutes. Jose Calderon played 26 minutes off the bench, but spent a lot of time at shooting guard, sharing the court with Lowry. This is what Lowry is capable of doing every night, while Calderon's value should hold as long as he's getting 25 minutes a night.

Kyle Lowry hit 5-of-9 shots and two more 3-pointers for 18 points, four rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 25 minutes on Friday. Lowry is officially back and ready to start for the Raptors. Jose Calderon played 26 minutes and had 11 points, seven assists and a 3-pointer, so while Lowry still looks like the man, Calderon is going to see plenty of minutes off the bench. Lowry is a top point guard option this season, while Calderon should be targeted late in drafts by owners desperate for depth at point guard.

Kyle Lowry hit five 3-point shots in the Raptors' 107-88 preseason win over the Knicks on Friday. Lowry went 6-of-11 from the field and rounded out his stat line with four rebounds, five assists, a steal, and a block in just under 30 minutes. With a small, growing history with injuries, Lowry presents the type of risk that owners can live with when shooting for upside at the top of a draft.

Kyle Lowry had 14 points, six assists, three steals and two turnovers in 25 minutes against the Wizards on Wednesday. Lowry has been hampered by a groin injury, but there was never any reason to worry. He was coasting along last year before missing games and is coming at a bit of a discount in drafts. He brings everything to the table with points, boards, assists, steals and solid percentages.

Kyle Lowry (groin) will play in Wednesday's preseason game. This is confirmation of what was expected, but it's still encouraging to hear nonetheless. Lowry will look to get acclimated with his new teammates in his preseason debut, and as long as he can stay healthy going into the year, he can be counted on as the primary point guard for your fantasy squad.

Kyle Lowry (groin) returned to Raptors practice on Sunday. We'll consider him questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Wizards, but it sounds like K-Low is ready to roll.

Kyle Lowry (groin) dressed for Friday's game but did not play. Beat writer Ryan Wolstat wrote that Lowry was "itching to get in, but that (the team) still wants him to rehab until he is completely healthy." This doesn't sound like a serious injury, and owners would be wise not to overreact, while keeping in mind that Lowry has a small, growing history with injuries.
