Hinrich tallied two points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three assists, and two rebounds over 12 minutes in Tuesday's 110-83 Game 5 win over the Celtics.

EDGE Analysis

The 12 minutes were Hinrich's most of the series, but all came in garbage time with the Hawks staked to a big lead. Hinrich has served primarily as the third-string point guard throughout his stint with the Hawks, averaging 0.5 points, 1.1 assists, and 0.9 rebounds over 6.1 minutes in 15 appearances, four of which have come in the playoffs.

Hinrich will be available for Saturday's game against the Bucks, the Atlanta Journal Constitution's Chris Vivlamore reports.

EDGE Analysis

While he will dress and be available, Hinrich is not a lock to play in Saturday's game, and should therefore not be deployed in most daily formats. Jeff Teague and Dennis Schroder should continue to dominate the point guard minutes going forward.

Hinrich will not play in Friday's game against the Heat, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

EDGE Analysis

Hinrich will arrive in Atlanta on Friday but will not be ready in time to take the court against the Heat. It appears he'll likely make his debut with the Hawks on Saturday, when they take on the Bucks. Look for Dennis Schroder to inherit the majority of the reserved point guard minutes on Friday night.

Hinrich has been traded to the Hawks in exchange for a second-round draft pick, Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

This move was a simple salary dump by the Bulls, which will save them close to $3 million in luxury taxes. Hinrich, who has spent nine full seasons with the Bulls, and two partial seasons with the Hawks, averaged 3.8 points, 1.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.4 blocks, and 1.8 steals in 16 minutes per contest through 35 games in 2015-16. With Dennis Schroder and Jeff Teague set to take most of the minutes at point guard, it is likely that Hinrich will serve a bench role as the backup to the backup.

Hinrich has averaged 3.8 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 35 games played so far this season.

EDGE Analysis

Hinrich has missed games due to injuries this season and just can't seem to hold up anymore over the long grind of the NBA season. Even if the Bulls decide to trade away players at the deadline, it's unlikely they would deal away Hinrich considering what he means to the team and the franchise. As this season heads down the stretch, this might be Captain Kirk's final NBA campaign.

Hinrich had two points (1-1 FG) and two assists in 10 minutes during the Bulls' 113-90 loss to the Hawks on Wednesday.

EDGE Analysis

Hinrich started at point guard in Monday's matchup versus the Hornets since Derrick Rose (soreness) sat out. However, Hinrich returned to a reserve role on Wednesday, and the 35-year-old guard doesn't provide much these days outside of his usual hustle and veteran leadership.

Hinrich is expected to return to a bench role Wednesday against the Hawks, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

EDGE Analysis

Derrick Rose, who missed Monday's game against the Hornets with general body soreness, isn't listed on the Bulls' injury report heading into Wednesday, so the expectation is that he'll reclaim his usual starting role at point guard and see 30-plus minutes of court time. That should result in Hinrich hitting the bench after he put up three points (1-8 FG, 1-5 3Pt), five assists, two rebounds, and a steal in 26 minutes while starting in the loss to the Hornets.

Hinrich will start in Monday's game against the Hornets, Vincent Goodwill of CSN Chicago reports.

EDGE Analysis

Hinrich is starting due to Derrick Rose (rest) sitting out a game. It's likely that Hinrich we'll see an increase and play time, but he'll be back to his bench role as soon as Rose returns.

Hinrich (leg) played 11 minutes in Sunday's 120-93 loss to the Clippers, finishing with no points (0-2 FG) and one rebound.

EDGE Analysis

Hinrich missed the Bulls' last six games with a left quad contusion. While he was able to work his way back into coach Fred Hoiberg's rotation Sunday, Hinrich still saw less playing time than Aaron Brooks (17), so it looks like he'll rank no better than the fourth option out of the team's backcourt.

Hinrich (leg) is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Clippers, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

EDGE Analysis

Hinrich was able to go through practice on Saturday without any setbacks, so it comes as no surprise that he's available to play on Sunday. Look for him to split time with Aaron Brooks as the backup to Derrick Rose at point guard.
