Richardson Tallied 17 points (7-13 FG, 3-4 3Pt), two rebounds, four assists, three steals, and a blocked shot in 34 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Spurs.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson's was all energy the entire game and his stat line shows it. After managing just six points Tuesday against the Pelicans, the rookie got back on track and recorded his fourth double-digit scoring game in his last five contests. He's not shooting a ton of shots, but he's making the ones he gets and is worth a late look as a DFS bargain.

Richardson contributed 19 points (6-9 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one blocked shot over 32 minutes in Saturday's win against the Cavaliers.
EDGE Analysis
It's encouraging to see Richardson making the most of his big minutes, and even more encouraging to see to him do it during a simultaneous big night from Dwyane Wade. The rookie has now made three or more three-pointers in five of his last six contests and continues to impress in his expanded role. With Miami vying for playoff position, the young guard is far from a lock to see these minutes down the stretch, but he should have opportunities if he keeps up his strong play.

Richardson scored a career-high 22 points (9-12 FG, 4-6 3Pt) while adding four assists, two rebounds and a steal in 32 minutes off the bench during Friday's win over the Bulls.
EDGE Analysis
His minutes continue to trend up, and with them come occasional gusts of useful production. Richardson has still only scored in double digits in four of the last nine games despite averaging 27.6 minutes a night, though, averaging 10.9 points, 2.3 boards, 2.0 assists, 1.7 threes and 1.2 steals over that stretch. Unless you really need those threes and steals, there are likely better options available for your roster.

Richardson recorded 14 points (4-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, two assists, two steals, and one block in 24 minutes during the Heat's 114-108 loss to the Bucks on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson has been stellar from beyond the arc for a Heat team in dire need of that. He is averaging 8.4 points (46.9 FG, 61.5 3Pt, 57.1 FT), 2.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.6 threes, one steal, and 0.4 blocks in 26 minutes per game through five March matchups.

Richardson dislocated his finger in Thursday's game against the Suns but X-rays revealed no further damage and he will return to the game, Jason Lieser of The Palm Beach Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson was forced to return to the locker room after tweaking the finger, but Heat doctors were able to get it back into place. The injury looked bad, but with no serious damage found on further examination it shouldn't impact his playing time going forward.

Richardson recorded 15 points (5-6 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, one steal, and one block across 29 minutes during the Heat's 118-112 loss to the Warriors on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson has assumed the job as primary backup at point guard with Tyler Johnson (shoulder) and Beno Udrih (foot) injured. Since both players may be likely to miss the remainder of the season, Richardson will likely continue seeing decent minutes behind Goran Dragic. Over the last four games, Richardson is averaging 6.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.3 threes, one block, 0.8 assists, and 0.8 steals in 23 minutes per contest.

Richardson was a DNP-CD in each of the Heat's last four games prior to the All-Star break.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson saw an increased role over a four-game stretch last month while the Heat were stricken with a number of backcourt injuries, but when Dwyane Wade, Luol Deng, Beno Udrih and Goran Dragic are healthy, Richardson is reduced to an end-of-the-bench role. The Tennessee product has already spent time with the Sioux Falls Skyforce this season, and it would not be a surprise if he's sent back to the D-League at some point.

Richardson (coach's decision) didn't play in the Heat's wins Monday against the Bulls or Tuesday against the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson saw 30-plus minutes in three consecutive games last week when the Heat were gashed by injuries up and down the roster, but he failed to do much with the opportunity, producing a total of 15 points in those contests on an awful 6-for-24 shooting (25%). With Luol Deng (eye) and Beno Udrih (neck) returning from both of the past two games, there's been no need for coach Erik Spoelstra to give the struggling Richardson any run. Don't be surprised if Richardson is sent back to the D-League in the near future.

Richardson played a season-high 30 minutes in Monday's 91-79 loss to the Bucks, finishing with three points (1-8 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three steals, two boards, and one assist.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson has seen his playing time skyrocket in the last two games, as the absences of Goran Dragic (calf) and Beno Udrih (neck) have forced Richardson up to the second spot on the Heat's depth chart at point guard. Unfortunately, Richardson has done little to take advantage of the opportunity, as he's shot 2-for-12 from the field and 1-for-6 from three-point range in those two contests. Still, with Dragic and Udrih out again Wednesday against the Wizards, Richardson still figures to be included in coach Erik Spoelstra's rotation, as the Heat aren't exactly ripe with other options.

Richardson was recalled from the Heat's D-League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
In Richardson's second stint with the Skyforce this season, he helped the team capture the NBA Development League Showcase Championship. He led the team in scoring in each of the Skyforce's two games, improving their record to 16-3. Richardson will now rejoin the Heat for their game against the Warriors on Monday night.
