Tim Duncan is not expected to exercise his player option for next season and may sign a new two-year deal with the Spurs, according to Buck Harvey of the San Antonio Express-News. The deal is expected to lower the team's payroll for the upcoming season while it may be more reward-based for the future Hall of Famer. Duncan's player option is for $10 million this season, so the Spurs may save a couple million for next season in an effort to go for the repeat. His fantasy value is still going to be in the early-middle rounds of drafts.
