Tim Duncan has officially picked up his player option on the final year of his contract for $10.3 million, according to sources of Yahoo! Sports. There was some sentiment that Timmy was going to opt out to restructure his contract, but that is a conversation that can be had next summer. That means that Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, and Gregg Popovich will all come off the books following the 2014-15 season, and that could be the end of one of the leagues most impressive basketball dynasties; but we still have another year to go before we enter that conversation.
