Thomas (hip) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Pistons, Steve Popper of The Record reports.

Thomas will be missing a third straight game as he continues to deal with a sore hip and while an MRI came back clean, he'll still need another night off for added recovery. With Thomas on the sidelines, Mindaugas Kuzminskas will likely take over some extra minutes there, although the fact that Carmelo Anthony (knee) is back in the lineup likely means Kuzminskas won't approach the 36 minutes he logged on Saturday. Kyle O'Quinn could also benefit with a few extra minutes at power forward.
