The Heat's second-round pick put in a considerably impressive performance while amassing what was his highest total of minutes by far in four preseason games. Presently looking up at a trio of veterans and first-round pick Justise Winslow on the shooting guard depth chart, Richardson nevertheless opened eyes during his extended playing time Tuesday. His offensive touch was on display, but his defensive efforts, highlighted by his three swipes, also helped underscore the complete package that Richardson brings to the court. The rookie's development over the balance of the exhibition slate will be one of the more interesting developments to monitor on a Heat team vying to return to the postseason in 2015-16.
