Kyle Lowry (triceps) returned from a seven-game absence on Friday, scoring 17 points on 5-of-7 shooting (including a three) with three rebounds, eight assists, one steal, and two blocks in 28 minutes off the bench. Lowry was benched in part because of his shot selection, and it was clear that he was concentrating on that tonight. This, of course, lends credibility to the idea that coming off the bench is a kick in the pants, and the current arrangement might go by the wayside once Dwane Casey believes the message has been received. Lowry made a couple of key shots tonight, too, while Jose Calderon went 1-of-6 from the field for two points and just six assists.
