Jeremy Evans won the 2012 Slam-Dunk competition with a rather underwhelming 29 percent of fan votes. The contest was insipid and was dominated, as usual, by gimmicks -- a glow-in-the-dark dunk, a first-person camera angle dunk, a dunk over P. Diddy, and so forth. Sunday's All-Star game will at least have more entertainment value and star power, after which we can return to covering meaningful games.
