Bobcats President of Basketball Operations Rod Higgins said the Bobcats should have the cap space available to target max-level players in free agency during the offseason.

Specifically, Higgins wrote that the Bobcats should have "upwards of $20 million to spend on player,'' offering the chance to "add the best free agents possible, including max-level players that may be available.'' The Charlotte Observer throws out guys like Josh Smith, David West, J.J. Hickson, Paul Millsap, Al Jefferson and Nikola Pekovic as potential targets.
