It's unclear how much time Robinson is expected to miss, but he only has 16 at-bats through the Twins' first 10 games in May.

Robinson got the start in center field against a lefty starter as the platoon in center field has become more or a rule rather than a loose platoon like manager Paul Molitor suggested before the season. Robinson's move to No. 2 in the batting order could indicate he may take over more of the center field role with Jordan Schafter struggling at the plate (hitting .132).
