Rickie Weeks had a monster day at the plate on Sunday, leading the Brewers to a wild 12-8 win in a slugfest over the Pirates. He finished the afternoon 3-for-4 plus a walk, with a homer, four runs scored, two RBI and a pair of steals. Weeks' two-run blast off James McDonald in the fourth inning was one of five Brewers' long balls in the game. After a horrendous start to the season, he's really turned it on since the start of August, hitting .295 (33-for-112) with three homers, 10 RBI and five steals over 29 games.

Rickie Weeks went 5-for-5 with two doubles and four runs scored versus the Cubs on Thursday. It's Weeks' first career five-hit game. He had four hits on six occasions, including once this year. The outburst raised his average from .213 to .222, which is as high as he's been since April 18. He's batted .276 with seven homers and 17 doubles in 192 at-bats since the beginning of July.

Rickie Weeks went 3-for-4 and scored a pair of runs in a losing effort against the Astros on Friday. Weeks has been much improved since the start of July, hitting .297 (35-for-118) with six homers and 17 RBI over 34 games. He's certainly capable of keeping up this pace over the remainder of the season, and should still be owned and started in most formats.

Rickie Weeks went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI in Saturday's loss to the Nationals. Weeks has been swinging a relatively hot stick in the month of July, going 24-for-82 (.293) with four homers and 13 RBI over 23 games. While his .207 average is still very unsightly, it's a tremendous improvement over the .152 that he bottomed out on at age 28.

Rickie Weeks went 4-for-4 with a homer Wednesday to up his average to .200 for the season. Weeks made it to .200 a couple of times earlier this month, but he was down to .190 again entering the day. The four-hit game was his first in almost two years.

Rickie Weeks turned in his second three-hit game of the season Tuesday, raising his average to .195. Weeks was all of the way down at .158 on June 10, so this qualifies as proogress. His current four-game hitting streak matches his season long.

Rickie Weeks' RBI single in the seventh inning provided the Brewers' only run Tuesday in a loss to the Royals. Weeks finished the night 2-for-3, raising his paltry average from .158 to .166 in the process. He's been a major disappointment for Brewers fans and fantasy owners alike thus far, and hopefully isn't being counted on in most leagues at this point.

Rickie Weeks returned to action on Saturday June 2.

Rickie Weeks was scratched from Friday's lineup against the Pirates due to illness. He should be ready to return in the next day or so. Brooks Conrad will start in his place at second base Friday.
