Digger Deeper: AL-Only Waiver Wire Report for Week 11 rotoballer.com Thu 6/13/19 7:00 AM

Every week in baseball, a significant player will hit the disabled list, slip into a slump, or get traded out of a good spot. How fantasy owners adapt to these situations can make or break the season as a whole. One lousy add might not hurt the long-term standing of a team, but failing to take advantage of breakouts or impact bats before others sure can.The primary challenge of playing in an NL or AL-only league is often the lack of options regarding adding and subtracting players when needed. I[...]

Rajai Davis Drills Three-Run Blast In Victory rotoballer.com Wed 5/22/19 10:26 PM

Getting the promotion from Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday as a result of Brandon Nimmo's IL stint, veteran New York Mets outfielder Rajai Davis made immediate impact. Appearing as a pinch-hitter on the same day, he stepped to the plate in the eighth with three runs already in and a pair of runners on base. The 38-year-old drilled a three-run home run to left as the Mets' huge eighth resulted in a 6-1 victory. [...]

Rajai Davis Earns Final Roster Spot For ALDS rotoballer.com Thu 10/4/18 2:06 PM

Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona said that outfielder Rajai Davis will get the 25th spot on the roster for the American League Division Series against the Astros over infielder Erik Gonzalez. Davis' speed is what won him the spot, as he had 21 swipes in 101 games despite hitting just .224/.278/.281 with one homer and six RBI. Davis is highly unlikely to start any games in the series, however.

Champ or Chump: Trevor Story and Ronald Acuna Jr. rotoballer.com Mon 9/17/18 11:46 AM

We begin our ridiculously early look at the 2019 fantasy baseball landscape with two of the bigger breakouts of the 2018 season. Trevor Story has gone from a barely top-100 asset to a potential MVP candidate, returning tremendous value to anyone who drafted him in March. Ronald Acuna Jr. should probably win the National League's Rookie of the Year award, likely earning some consideration as a fantasy MVP in the process. Our question is simple: with both players likely to command high prices i[...]

Cleveland Indians outfielder Rajai Davis will draw the start in center field and bat ninth versus lefty Danny Duffy on Tuesday. Davis was activated off the disabled list on Saturday, but this is his first game action since late August. Davis is hitting .246/.293/.309 with one homer, six RBI and 16 stolen bases this season. Greg Allen will get the night off with Davis in the starting lineup. Duffy has been awful against the Indians this season, but it's tough to trust Davis for DFS contests.

Rajai Davis Activated From DL rotoballer.com Sun 9/2/18 12:22 PM

The Cleveland Indians activated outfielder Rajai Davis from the disabled list when rosters expanded on Saturday. Davis has been out since late August with a non-baseball medical condition. He's mainly useful for his speed (16 stolen bases) in deeper leagues, and he'll be a platoon option in the Tribe's outfield from here on out.

The 2018 version of the MLB Trade Deadline was one of the most memorable in recent memories. With players being dealt left and right, multiple teams around the league have changed the identity of their franchise for the present and future. With so much movement going on, the fantasy baseball landscape has taken a major turn as well. Some players who were in great situations may no longer see opportunities while others may be in line for regular starts. This article will tell you which players[...]

Cleveland Indians outfielder Tyler Naquin (hip) has been scratched from the starting lineup on Friday. Rajai Davis will replace him in center field and face righty Mike Fiers. It's unclear how serious Naquin's hip issue is, but he could end up on the disabled list. Davis is not worth add in fantasy leagues or using in DFS contests on Friday.

Rajai Davis Makes the Team rotoballer.com Thu 3/22/18 9:55 AM

Cleveland Indians outfielder Rajai Davis has made the Opening Day roster. Davis is a familiar face in Cleveland, and his positional versatility likely helped him make it past final cuts. He's a 37-year-old backup outfielder who slashed just .235/.293/.348 in 117 games last season, but he did swipe 29 bags. He could end up with some value in deep leagues if Cleveland has to deal with a few injuries to their outfield, but as the current fifth outfielder, he should be on every league's waiver wire.
