St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas took a tough loss on Saturday, tossing seven innings while allowing two runs on three hits and a walk. He struck out seven and needed just 95 pitches. Mikolas ended up with a loss as the Cardinals only scored one run, but he dropped his ERA to 3.83. He got off to a slow start, but he's back to being a strong fantasy starter and should be for the rest of the season.

St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas pitched well on Monday, allowing just three hits in seven scoreless innings. He struck out five and didn't issue a walk. Mikolas threw just 98 pitches (66 strikes) and lowered his ERA to 4.02. It was a solid outing and typical of his better starts from last season.

St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas won his third game of the season on Wednesday, tossing six strong innings. He allowed just a run on seven hits and a walk while striking out four. The seven hits weren't ideal, but he was able to scatter them and only allow one run, picking up a win and a quality start. Mikolas lowered his ERA to 4.73 and should keep lowering it in his next few starts.

St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas was just OK on Friday, allowing four runs on six hits and a walk in five innings pitched. Mikolas struck out four but allowed three home runs. He doesn't possess the ideal swing-and-miss stuff, but Mikolas is usually able to get guys out by keeping them off balance. He should improve in his next start, going in with a 2-2 record and a 5.29 ERA.
