Seager went 1-for-4 with a game-winning RBI double and a walk in Tuesday's 5-4 extra-inning win over the Tigers.

EDGE Analysis

The veteran third baseman came through with a timely two-bagger to win it for the Mariners, eclipsing his RBI total for May in the process. Seager has driven in 14 runs overall in June, with four of those coming in the last three contests. The one area in which he's seen some regression has been home runs, as the 29-year-old's seven round trippers through 299 plate appearances put him on pace for his lowest total since he hit 20 in 2012.

Seager went 3-for-5 Sunday against the Rangers with three RBI on three doubles and two runs scored.

EDGE Analysis

Seagers was a two-bagger machine Sunday, hitting two off Rangers starter Yu Darvish. This performance came at just the right time for Seager, who entered the day with just five hits over his previous seven games (32 at-bats).

Seager went 2-for-6 with two RBI from a fielder's choice and a single in Monday's 14-3 win over the Twins.

EDGE Analysis

The veteran has hit his stride at the plate, posting four multi-hit efforts in his last seven games and hitting safely in seven of the last eight contests overall. While Seager remains considerably off the home-run pace he established last season when he blasted a career-high 30 round trippers, his current hard contact rate of 38.2 percent would serve as the second highest of his career over a full season.

Seager went 2-for-5 with four RBI from a run-scoring double and three-run home run in Tuesday's 12-3 win over the Twins.

EDGE Analysis

Seager's 349-foot shot to right in the fourth put an early cap on what was a spectacular scoring barrage by the Mariners and served as his first RBI since he also compiled four versus the Rockies on May 30. The veteran third baseman has hit safely in 13 of his last 16 games, posting six doubles, a pair of round trippers, 10 RBI, .356 wOBA and 44.2 percent hard contact rate over that stretch.

Seager went 1-for-3 with a walk and two strikeouts during Sunday's 7-1 victory over the Rays.

EDGE Analysis

Before going hitless in nine at-bats over his two previous games, Seager accumulated six RBI over his previous four games. It will be interesting to see if those hitless nights were anomalies, while it looked like he was headed toward a hot streak. His .254/.329/.388 slash line could use a few solid weeks to trend his numbers toward a more elite level.

Seager went 3-for-5 with a double, a homer, four RBI and three runs in Colorado on Tuesday.

EDGE Analysis

The homer was his first in two weeks, as Seager has struggled to get it going throughout the season. He's sitting on his worst stat line in years -- particularly the mere five homers in 50 games, his worst pace since his rookie campaign. However, he's got a couple more games coming up at Coors that can go a long way toward correcting his stat line and building confidence for the 100-plus games remaining in the season.

Seager went 2-for-3 in Tuesday's 10-1 loss to the Nationals.

EDGE Analysis

Seager's first multi-hit game since May 9 was one of the few offensive highlights for the Mariners, which got their road trip off to a forgettable start. The veteran third baseman has shown much better pop than he did in the season's opening month, as he's boasting a 44.8 percent hard contact rate in May (as compared to 24.6 percent in April). He's also hit safely in seven of his last nine games, as well as in 15 of 20 contests during the month overall.

Seager went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 6-5 win over the A's.

EDGE Analysis

Seager has begun to heat up a little bit in May and has raised his season slash line to .254/.342/.377 after a very disappointing opening month. After hitting a career-high 30 dingers in 2016, his owners are likely scratching their heads with his power production (three long balls in 152 plate appearances). The opportunity to buy low remains open for savvy owners. Seager should pick up the pace, and his current career-high 11.8 percent walk rate is a good sign.
