Kyle Bishop's 10 Bold Predictions for 2019 rotoballer.com Tue 3/12/19 6:30 AM
2018 was a season to forget for yours truly, both in terms of fantasy performance and hit rate on bold predictions. In the first three years as a participant in this feature, I connected on three per article, with a few others in the realm of respectable. Last year? An 0-fer, and most of them were impressively lousy.Does that mean I plan to be any less audacious as a result? Hardly. That would defeat the purpose of the exercise. Besides, regression is inevitable! Right? Right?![...]

Nothing sinks a fantasy season quite like a bust, and the last thing we want to do as fantasy owners is deal with one of those headaches all season. Last year players like Brian Dozier, Marcell Ozuna, and Jonathan Schoop drove us mad, The goal of this article is to identify an infielder at every position who could spoil a fantasy season in 2019 and as such should be avoided at his current ADP.Every player in this article is currently going in the top-150 picks in NFBC leagues, making them player[...]
Predicting the Top 10 Home Run Hitters of 2019 rotoballer.com Sun 3/10/19 4:30 PM
Last year 14 players hit over 35 or more home runs; the year before that it was 18. The point is, narrowing such an impressive pool of players down to 10 is challenging. The list is realistic but I wanted to be slightly bold as well. It wouldnt be much of a prediction if we just chose the top home run hitters from last year. Coincidentally, there are three sets of teammates, and in two cases, its essentially 50/50 who will lead their team by season's end. There are obviously some notable omissions[...]

For rosters to be competitive annually, they have to possess players that are primed for longevity. To do that, sacrifices will need to be made at some point, and that starts at the draft. The draft: everyone loves it. I[...]

Justin Turner 2019 Outlook: Ready to Bounce Back in 2019 rotoballer.com Sun 1/27/19 11:14 PM
Despite an injury-marred 2018 season, Turner put up essentially the same numbers that garnered him his first All-Star appearance in 2017. Over 426 plate appearances last year, Turner hit .312 with 14 home runs and a .924 OPS. It was the second straight season for Turner with an OPS over .900, and he would have been on pace to hit 23 home runs over a full season. Now that hes a season removed from injury, Turner has the potential to become a draft day steal. His advanced metrics dont show any war[...]

The merry-go-round that is the Dodgers' offseason continued on Thursday, as it was announced that A.J. Pollock is signing in Los Angeles on a four-year $55-million dollar contract. It always seemed likely the Dodgers could add another outfielder, but the thought was that it was more likely to be Bryce Harper who signed in Los Angeles. However, it makes a lot of sense that the Dodgers decided to add a true center fielder in the form of Pollock. The question is, what are the fantasy effects of this[...]
