Jeffress struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Friday to record his ninth save of the season in a 4-2 win over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander has racked up five saves and two wins in his last eight appearances, posting a 1.93 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 11:5 K:BB in 9.1 innings over that stretch. While Josh Hader remains the Brewers' best reliever, Jeffress seems set to be their most valuable one for fantasy purposes down the stretch.

Jeffress picked up his eighth save of the season Friday against the Nationals, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out two across a scoreless ninth inning.
EDGE Analysis
Jeffress loaded up the bases with one out, but he struck out Bryce Harper and got Anthony Rendon to ground out to end things. The veteran reliever has now converted four of five save chances since taking over as Milwaukee's primary closer Aug. 20, compiling a solid 2.45 ERA and 8:5 K:BB in 7.2 innings over that stretch.

Jeffress pitched the final two innings of Wednesday's victory over the Reds and picked up his seventh win of the season.
EDGE Analysis
Jeffress tossed a scoreless ninth inning, and after a Jesus Aguilar bomb in the top of the 10th inning, Jeffress remained in the game and closed the deal for the Brewers. Jeffress did serve up a solo home run in the 10th frame and owns just a 1.35 WHIP this month, but he has been able to strand most runners, as he also owns a 2.03 ERA in August. Most importantly for fantasy players: Jeffress has functioned as the Brewers' sole closer since Aug. 20, and has notched three saves and Wednesday's win during that span.

Jeffress worked around a hit in a scoreless inning of work to record his seventh save of the season Sunday against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Jeffress allowed the leadoff hitter to reach, but he retired the next man before getting a double-play lineout to end the game. This was a nice bounce-back effort for Jeffress, who blew the save in his previous outing on Friday. The veteran holds a sparkling 1.43 ERA for the season and appears comfortable in his new role as the team's closer, with Corey Knebel currently in the minor leagues due to his struggles this season.

Jeffress gave up a run on two hits and a walk while striking out two in the ninth inning Friday, blowing his fifth save of the season in an eventual 7-6 extra-innings win over the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander had converted three straight save chances since moving back into the saves mix for Milwaukee, and Jeffress has put together some strong numbers this year, including a 1.80 ERA and 20:8 K:BB in 15 innings since the All-Star break. His wavering control can make him volatile, but the 30-year-old has rebounded in impressive fashion from last year's struggles.

Jeffress picked up his sixth save of the season Wednesday against the Reds, recording the final four outs without allowing a baserunner and striking out one batter.
EDGE Analysis
The bases were loaded with the tying run at the plate when Jeffress entered with two outs in the bottom of the eighth, meaning the reliever was eligible for a save even though the Brewers held a four-run lead. He got Scooter Gennett to fly out before retiring the side in order in the ninth, giving him saves on back-to-back days. Jeffress could be in line for a handful of more saves while Corey Knebel looks to get back on track in a low-leverage role.

Jeffress worked around a hit and a walk in a scoreless inning of work to earn his fifth save of the season Monday against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Jeffress allowed a leadoff single and a one-out walk, but he induced a double-play ball to end the game with the tying run at the plate. He went two innings in Sunday's win over the Cardinals, but he clearly still has the trust of the coaching staff to close out games when necessary. Corey Knebel is still rediscovering his form in a lower-leverage role, so Jeffress could continue seeing save opportunities in the meantime.

Jeffress allowed one earned run over two innings in Sunday's victory over the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
The earned run Jeffress allowed snapped a streak of eight straight scoreless outings, but he still managed to record his 18th hold of the season. Manager Craig Counsell has used Jeffress has been used more conservatively of late with Corey Knebel out of the closer's role, but the Brewers have not found themselves in many save situations since late, and Jeffress has not picked up a save since July 31. Jeffress is still the top option should Counsell want to use a right-hander for the ninth inning, but fellow reliever Josh Hader has three saves this month, indicating he is the preferred option of the two.

Jeffress tossed a scoreless eighth inning and struck out two batters in Wednesday's victory over the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Jeffress struggled a bit immediately before and after the All-Star break, but he has righted the ship, keeping the opponent off the scoreboard in six straight outings while striking out eight batters over that span. Jeffress has not been given a chance to close since notching his fourth save July 31, but he is presumably on deck if needed while working as the Brewers' primary setup man.

Jeffress tossed a perfect ninth inning and picked up his fourth save of the season in Tuesday's victory over the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Regular closer Corey Knebel was presumably available Tuesday, but manager Craig Counsell decided to go with Jeffress in the save spot instead, and the move paid off. Knebel has been a bit shaky lately, so Jeffress could see more save opportunities in the near future. However, he certainly has not supplanted Knebel by any means, and Knebel would figure to regain the primary closer's role if he turns things around. Jeffress has proven to be a valuable fantasy asset in any role thanks to his minuscule ratios, but his stock obviously would get a boost if he is able to grab more saves.
