Yovani Gallardo was solid Friday in his latest tuneup for Opening Day, allowing only an unearned run over 5 1/3 innings.
Gallardo held the Cubs to just four hits -- all singles -- while walking two and striking out four. It was nice to see, as he had allowed seven runs in 8 2/3 innings over his first three Grapefruit League starts. His walk rate may hold him back from being an elite fantasy option, but he's a fine No. 2 starter for most mixed league staffs.
