Wisler will be optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett, David O'Brien of the AJC reports.
EDGE Analysis
While the move has not been made official yet, interim manager Brian Snitker announced after Thursday's rough start that Wisler would be sent down to work through his struggles. After a hot start to the season, Wisler has been brutal in July, notching an 8.44 ERA and a 1.73 WHIP in four starts leading into Thursday. He was torched by the Phillies on Thursday as well, allowing six earned runs (including three home runs) in five innings to take his 11th loss of the season.
