A day after coming off the DL having recovered from a toe injury, Werth is back on the pine as the Nationals deploy a Adam Lind in left field, Alejandro De Aza in center field and Wilmer Difo in right. Werth may be given the occasional day off over the season's final month in an effort to make sure he is fresh for October.
