The Mets are discussing a contract extension with Duda, Joel Sherman NY Post reports. Duda, who hit 30 homers last year, is making $4.2 million in 2015. He could go year to year and be a free agent after the 2017 season, at which point he will 31 years old. The key question seems to be how long the Mets want to lock up Duda for coming off one good year. On the field, Duda, hit a triple off a lefty and then homered later in Saturday's game.
