Royals recalled RHP Jeremy Jeffress from Triple-A Omaha. He'll take the roster spot of Jonathan Broxton, who was traded to the Reds on Wednesday. Jeffress had a brief stint with the Royals in April, but has spent most of the season at the Triple-A level, posting a 4.97 ERA and 61/25 K/BB ratio over 58 innings. He'll pitch in middle relief.
