Royals reassigned RHP P.J. Walters and RHP Cory Wade to minor league camp. Neither hurler was expected to make the Opening Day bullpen. Walters had an especially rough spring, posting a 9.45 ERA and 2.70 WHIP in his 6 2/3 frames.
