Phillips went 2-for-3 with a double, a two-run homer and a sacrifice fly against the Brewers on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran second baseman's now homered on consecutive days after knocking just one long ball in his first 23 games of the season. Last season's .294 average seemed like something of an outlier -- it was easily his highest mark in the past four seasons -- but Phillips is hitting .293 after this performance. Even though the 34-year-old's best days are behind him, he's still a productive player at second base.
