Olt will be placed on the disabled list with a hairline fracture of his ulna, and he will be in a cast for three weeks, Bruce Miles of the Daily Herald reports. Olt's injury will open the door for the recall of Kris Bryant, who is expected to join the Cubs on Friday. He was believed to be just holding down the job until Bryant spent enough time in the minors for another year of team control, so it's unlikely that he will regain the everyday duties with the club when he returns from the DL stint.
