Trout felt better Thursday and was hopeful that he'd be back in the lineup Friday, but he'll ultimately require at least one additional day to recover. However, manager Phil Nevin said prior to Friday's matchup that Trout is close to a return, so it's certainly possible that he returns sometime during the team's weekend series against the Mets.
