Mike Olt (foot) resumed taking batting practice Monday. Olt has shown significant improvement with the plantar fasciitis in his right foot. "It's getting a lot better," Olt said. "I'm going to start swinging today. It's all up to what I can take as far as pain. I'll see what happens." It's encouraging that the youngster is feeling better, but he'll have continue to progress rapidly if he wants a shot at being on the postseason roster.
