Matthew Cerrone of MetsBlog reports that the Mets, Twins and Red Sox are the most likely teams to sign free agent shortstop Stephen Drew. Drew is at the top of a weak free agent shortstop class. When he is off the board, teams in need of a shortstop will be scrambling for other options. As part of the championship-winning Red Sox last season, Drew posted a .777 OPS. He will turn 31 in March, important to keep in mind depending on the length of the contract he will eventually sign.
