Making his Royals' debut, Justin Maxwell finished 1-for-3 with an RBI single and a walk Thursday against the Twins. Maxwell, who was acquired from the Astros on Wednesday, made the start in right field with left-hander Scott Diamond on the mound for the Twins. It appears that he'll be used on the short side of a platoon with David Lough. While that could prove to be a nifty move for the Royals, it probably won't amount to much fantasy value.
