Major League Baseball has named Fernando Rodney the American League Comeback Player of the Year.

Rodney didn't post an ERA under 4.24 from 2007-2001, but his 0.60 mark for 2012 broke the record for the lowest ERA in major-league history for a relief pitcher with at least 60 innings pitched. The 35-year-old also won MLB's Delivery Man of Year award.
