Lucas Duda (hamstring) will play in a live game Thursday. It will either be a Grapefruit League game or a minor league game. Duda has been battling tightness in his left hamstring but should have ample time to get properly tuned up for the start of the 2014 regular season. The Mets are shopping Ike Davis again, so Duda projects to serve as the club's regular first baseman.
